Ward is garbage, once Groves beats Froch he is n#1 at 168.

Ward is a disgrace to boxing, should have been DQ'd at least 10 times by now.

Ward is truly dreadful to watch, utterly dreadful.

So because Ward beat Froch many years ago he should regain a higher ranking despite rarely fighting and when he does grace the ring with his presence he just bowl over some can.

        Ok.

If Ward went to war with Rodriguez and then had a rematch, would Froch fans give him credit for 'always taking on the best'?

Because thats pretty much what Froch is doing with Groves.

He wasn't seen as a good opponent that's true. The fight with Froch proved that he was much better than expected. Rarely has a fighter benefitted as much from a loss as Groves has.

How can Rodriguez be a "can" if he was ranked top 3 in the world by all four major sanctioning bodies?

If Ward had not had a fight since the injury I would say yes make Froch number 1. But the fact is Ward did defend his title recently. You may not like his choice of opponents but the guy he fought was undefeated and ranked in the top 4 contenders for the 168 pound world title and he most certainly had a pulse.
Rodriguez might have been no. 4 in th e WBA rankings, but since when are alphabet rankings to be taken seriously? I mean Kashtonov is no. 1 for crying out loud!
