Should Froch be no. 1 if he beats Groves?

George Groves has always been a pretty fast fighter. Pretty explosive as well.

Faster than Ward? I don't think so. But he's pretty quick.

His speed is rather average.

Sad thing about the thread starter is people actually consider him a knowledgeable boxing fan. He's in Team Classic, which prides itself as being the Fight Club of Boxing Scene, they sit in their little password-protected section of the website and laugh at "us" who post in the NSB section. They are the all-knowing and wise and these are the threads they create on this board. Full of hate, bias, trolling, and jealousy. And more often than not, anti-American. No different than every other troll that infests NSB. The beat goes on. March soldier.

Considering the majority of posters in TC are Fat Yanks, I doubt that very much. But it's nice to see a "new" poster is so bitter about it.

As for the thread, it's hard to get out of my head the fact that Ward beat Froch, and convincingly.

That said, the way boxing works... if Ward has another year of relative inactivity and Froch continues to take on opponents, including unifying the other belts, then... maybe.

Based on resume, Froch is already ahead of Ward. And I like Ward quite a bit more than Froch (not that I dislike Froch). Current rankings aren't based on past glories, it's what have you done lately. Andre Ward has great skills, but he hasn't done anything in quite a while. He is becoming irrelevant and his prime is wasting away.
