Should Froch be no. 1 if he beats Groves?

      Considering the majority of posters in TC are Fat Yanks, I doubt that very much. But it's nice to see a "new" poster is so bitter about it.

        As for the thread, it's hard to get out of my head the fact that Ward beat Froch, and convincingly.

        That said, the way boxing works... if Ward has another year of relative inactivity and Froch continues to take on opponents, including unifying the other belts, then... maybe.

          Based on resume, Froch is already ahead of Ward. And I like Ward quite a bit more than Froch (not that I dislike Froch). Current rankings aren't based on past glories, it's what have you done lately. Andre Ward has great skills, but he hasn't done anything in quite a while. He is becoming irrelevant and his prime is wasting away.
