When is the last time he fought a mandatory? Just asking. Seems like the WBA are happy to let him sit on the belt without fighting.
Edwin Rodriguez (different guy from Delvin Rodriguez) was ranked #3 by the WBA when Ward fought him. He was also ranked #3 by the IBF, #3 by the WBO, and #1 by the WBC.

As long as Andre is fighting and beating the top ranked super middleweight contenders for his belt then Froch isn't going to just magically surpass him and be #1.

          Seriously?

I mean I'm taking your word for it, I just wonder how beating the likes of Grachev, Rosinsky & Maderna could give you such a ranking.

Yes but he stands no chance against the monster that is George Groves.

Groves will be crowned the new king of British boxing in six days time.

He will then proceed to travel to da hood Oakland and punish the diva Andre Ward.

He will KO Ward and make him cry in his home town.

Same way Groves got ranked after beating a list of nobodies (post razor thin Degale win that he didn't rematch)

Ward is the man at 168 but he needs to step back in that ring and defend his crown.

I would have no problem with Froch being no.1 should he win on Saturday. Should Groves win I would have no problem with Ward v Groves being made.

If you still see him as #2 p4p, surely he is no. 1 in his division?
