  • Ward is basically retired, so YES, Froch is no.1.

      Ok.
Two and a half years is many years? Since Ward/Froch, Froch has fought 4X and Ward twice. Not that bad considering the injury and the managerial problems. I see where exaggerating these things advances your agenda though. While you are certainly entitled to your own opinion, your not entitled to your own facts

Froch has fought twice as often as Ward, fights again on saturday, while Ward has nothing scheduled. Rankings is based on 'what have you done for me lately', and while Froch has faced stellar opposition, Ward has faced a drained raisin and a clubfighter.

        • Yes, Ward hasn't beat anyone worthy at SMW in far too long.

Rankings are based on who's better than who. That's why they're called "rankings", funnily enough.

We are not talking all-time rankings here. We are talking current rankings.

              Carry on.

                "All time rankings"

Do you even know what you're talking about?

The only question that needs to be answered is.....Is Carl Froch the best super middleweight in the world?

                • If Ward is inactive until 17th November then yes as he'll be a year inactive and would drop out of the rankings. Until then, no.

On Rodriguez, I think Ring had him #8.

                    Yeah.

Froch, who we know a lot about due to the opposition faced

                    or

Ward, who's current form has more questionmarks than the riddlers suit. I mean we know that he was the best three years ago when he fought the best. Since then we know he can beat a raisin and a clubfighter and that he has had several major injuries.

The fact that you have to dance around the subject and blow a bunch of hot air tells me everything.

Carl Froch isn't the best at 168 and nothing will change that until he beats Andre Ward. Even Froch himself knows that and wouldn't want people to think otherwise.

                      Stop trying to pussify boxing.
