He should have taken career advice from me,he would not have been beaten into submission and had to make a thousand excuses for the way he was beaten up...

You noticed the weights as well?

Scullys words goes hand in hand with other accounts from Dawson's camp ie sparringpartners and associates who has been on record saying Dawson spent more time in the sauna than in the gym.

He was throwing hard punches for the whole fight, just missing a lot.

His legs at no point looked shot.

His most energetic round of the whole fight was the 10th where he had Floyd trapped on the rope throwing hard sharp combinations.

Not the traits of a guy who's dead at the weight.

You know what is? A guy getting dropped by a punch that wasn't even solid against a guy who's not a big puncher and has never dropped a guy with a single punch before that fight.

Is Rome-by-ko trying to say that the Canelo catchweight was the same as Dawson moving down to 168?

For the record, I think Canelo looked terrible at the weigh-in and the weight making obviously affected him.

But it's hardly comparable to the Dawson situation. The man is pretty much a career LHW and over 6ft tall and he had to drop down 7lbs....not 2lbs. It's not the same.
My argument has never change..Dawson agreed to terms,I'm not penalizing Ward for that..It's really simple..

            Ok....(wtf?)

The point is you don't turn down big fights if they're presented to you and if you're the b-side, you have to make concessions. Bradley would've ****** a thousand ****s to get the Pacquaio fight, come on now. Dawson had to make concessions to get the fight with Ward. It wasn't that he wanted to fight at 168 or in Oakland, he just knew he had to do it.

Yeah. Why change an opinion despite overwhelming evidence pointing towards a totally different conclusion?

LMAO..I did not see Alvarez throw hard shape combinations in that fight at all..His legs looked like he was in quick sand..If Floyd really step on the gas on him he would have most likely dropped him,but you know how Floyd is(safety first)..

Really quick,do ya see how this convo has started to turn??Facts are getting lost..All there is,are opinions..This is what I hate, and a big reason I used the logic I do..There is no opinions in facts..Just saying..

His legs are always quite slow.

Go and watch the 10th back and have a look but lord knows what "your eyes" will see

Floyd tried to step on the gas at times but Canelo did a good job of negating that with his timing and counters.

It's pretty abundantly clear by simply using your eyes but ok.

And of course he looked much worse than Canelo in that fight with John Murray.

                      brandon rios making lightweight:

this is a clearly drained fighter. this is what they look like. rios body is literally harvesting the fat in his face, making it sink in. that's how far these guys go to make these weights.

dead at the weight? what does that even mean, and how does it not apply to brandon rios when he was a f#cking zombie against john murray?

he didn't get blasted by andre ward, so he wasn't "dead at the weight?" he won, so he wasn't "dead?"

he was clearly drained. it was well documented. he stopped a man late. your posts involving the impossibility a weight drained fighter having a good tenth round are seriously discredited by that fight.
