The difference is neither Cotto nor Canelo were drained whereas Dawson was against Ward.

    Nor Hatton against Pacquaio

canelo was absolutely drained against mayweather. he didn't even make 154 against angulo in his next fight, and was asked to do 152 against mayweather.

he sat on a flipping chair at the weigh in...

    look at his stomach..

I don't really know what the relevance of your second paragraph is.
Dawson should have just offered Stevenson the fight right of the back..Or just fought Cloud, why would he lower himself and take the **** end of the stick??He had just won,a career defining fight against B-Hop..It made no sense, yet it was still his decision..Ward should not take any bashing for it..

His stomach looks fine and all you have to do is watch the fight and it's pretty damn clear he's not drained. Canelo himself hasn't even said he was drained.

His most energetic and active round was Round 10. Pretty clear sign he wasn't drained.

Nothing will change the fact that Dawson got that azz beat..

Nothing will change the fact that Ward is ranked num2 P4P because of his accomplishments..Taking Dawson's head being one of them..Nothing but fact, not your speculations..
No I understand Dawson is to blame. Stated that in the thread numerous times.

What you're failing to comprehend is that it being his fault doesn't change the fact that he was dead at the weight.

You consider that credit worthy because it was his fault. I don't.

And I know he's ranked #2. He shouldn't be but hey, what can I do?

dude his stomach is ****** in. that's what happens when your body is starved of calories and water, IE drained.

i dont' know what you want me to say when i show you a clearly weight drained fighter, who couldn;t make 154 in his next fight, standing there with a sunken stomach, and you tell me he isn't drained.

he sat on a f#cking chair at the weigh in. this is a 23 year old pro athlete. he doesn't need a chair if he's not drained. what is not registering?

That post is a candidate for the most ****** post you've made in this thread.

How can a drained fighter have his most energetic and active round in the 10th? Defies all logic. Like, watching the fight it's clear as day the guy isn't drained. He hasn't even made that excuse himself.

This is why I did not get people comparison of illegal blows being the same,or Ali coming out of retirement..They just made no sense at all..What I'm saying is taking credit from a fighter, cause another fighter was unable to meet the terms(he agreed!!!!!!!!!!!)to is unfair and a horrible logic..

I personally don't take anything away from Mayweather or Pac,even tho imo what they did was worse then what Ward did..Ward never demanded anything,he was challenge(and the challenger issued the terms in his challenge proposal)so how is Ward the bad guy for not budging on these terms??

Again,Dawson could have simply walked away..It's not Wards fault that Dawson did not know his worth..
