Stevenson and Cloud was still there..Hell Cloud had not even loss to B-Hop yet, stop it dude..He did not have to fight Ward,I'm mean he only made 600'000..It's not like he made 2 or 3 mill..He could have fought anyone in that div and made somewhere close to that..

Again, what was the difference in Stevenson from when Dawson fought Ward..Till the moment he knocked Dawson out..The answer was nothing, knocking Dawson out was what got Stevenson his fame..

I respect that view(although I share it tho)but at least your putting everyone in the same boat..I mean if I guy is trying to get an advantage on the scales call him out for it..Yet Ward never ask to fight Dawson or issued a challenge at a certain weight..

My view is that if you agree to the terms, then there should be no excuses when you lose..I'm a Bradley fan, when I heard him make that excuse after he lost to Pac I was even boo'ing him..Was he really injured,I have no doubt..Who cares tho he loss(fair and square)give credit where it's do and move on..I remember feeling like Trout was jobbed by Alvarez in their match, yet Trout agreed to the terms..I can't now take anything away from Alvarez.it's not right..All alvarez did was his job..Same goes for Pac and Mayweather..I don't feel either did anything wrong, they made terms, their opponents agreed to them..

Why would when I sit down to nego would I except anything else??Again,if Dawson did not like the terms, all needed to do was walk away..Bottom line..He was a Champion too was he not??He had the same power Ward had,if he did not know it,again not Wards issue...
And? When they actually sat down to negotiate he asked for a catchweight and he said no, 168 or not fight.

So, it was 168 or no fight and that was Ward's say.

Yeah, he could walk away but he wanted the Ward fight obviously as it was the biggest fight out there at the time.

Stevenson was at 168 and Cloud....lol those are not big fight. It's not necessarily all about the payday but also the recognition he'd get from a victory over Ward. He wasn't going to get either fighting someone like bum ass Tavoris Clous...lol

I don't really know what the relevance of your second paragraph is.

And yes I have said they had advatages, go and read back.

The difference is neither Cotto nor Canelo were drained whereas Dawson was against Ward.

              Nor Hatton against Pacquaio

Who the hell is saying that hatton was weight drained... It was at 140, his career weight and for his lineal title..
Same guys saying hatton was drained, are the ones that probably complain that floyd fought hatton at 147... some of these posters are walking talking contradictions

Rome used it was an example because I think he thought Pacquaio moved down from 147 to fight Pacquaio. Well, he did think that because he said "Hatton moved down 7 lbs bro"

Then he changed it to "He looked like **** against Lazcano in his fight before Pacquaio" then of course his fight before Pacquaio was Malignaggi in which he looked good.

Of course just an extremely bad example but he has retracted it though.

Yes we are, cause you are failing to understand that everything was Dawson's choice..

Nothing you say will change the fact that Dawson agreed to terms..

Nothing will change the fact that Dawson got that azz beat..

Nothing will change the fact that Ward is ranked num2 P4P because of his accomplishments..Taking Dawson's head being one of them..Nothing but fact, not your speculations..
