yea he beat him but it wasnt no ass beating for sure and when I say he fought him like he was in the olympics I mean that he just trying to win rounds by running most of the time. Dont get me wrong I think whitaker is one of the best P4p boxers of all time and he had real good defense. But tell me when did he ever have a fight of the year he was booring just like hopkins.

I know were your coming from 100% But what I hate about some boxers is that they're just way to defensive in makes for booring fights. I for reals wish that boxing could be as famous as other sports like football for example i wish I could come to work and everybody is talking about the fight from then night before. But because of all these PPV's and especially these over defensive fighters (Booring to people that aint die hard boxing fans like me and you) they scared alot of the public away because they dont want to see that kind of fights they want some exciting fight that make you stand up in your seats type of ****!!!! you know what I mean? Dont get me wrong I admire the fact that some boxers hit and dont get hit but most of the time its hell of booring I praticly have to beg my friens to come see the fights with me, because they think its going to be another booring fight just like the winky vs trinidad and the hopkins vs taylors fights.

although he has nothing to do with this, floyd is a three division champion whose career still has many fights left. we dont know who will be considered all time greats until their careers are over.

3 divison champ? yeah beating Gatti? Chavez cleaned out his divisions and was ring magazines number 1 pfp for about 3 years in a row. If you think Chavez didnt beat great fighters then that right there shows you dont know anything about JCC.
