  • who did JULIO CHAVEZ beat that was any good?

other then the lucky meldrick taylor stoppage in the last round with 12 seconds to go when chavez was losing..who did chavez ever beat to be considered great? does 100 plus win record fighting bums fool the public?

u might feel his victory over Meldrick taylor was lucky or whatever, but the physical and mental damage taylor received in that fight says otherwise.

Chavez never ducked nobody, he fought the best there was in those days, just because u dont recognize many (or any?) of them dont mean he ducked anybody or that he didnt do things right.

Chavez fought his way to being #1 at 130, 135, and 140, who do u think he ducked? He "PADDED" his record on the guys recognized as the best there was in that time, dont blame him if Taylor, Rosario, Martinez, Mayweather, Ramirez arent who u would have wanted him to beat. (P.S. those guys are just when chavez was in his prime).

Chavez beat some of the best Mexican cab drivers of all time, no other legendary boxer can match that. Chavez is one of a kind, he was special & we will never see another Chavez in our generation.

            We miss you Chavez
