i said he was overrated, becuase he didnt beat any all time greats. that was my argument
The reason many like yourself dont see the top guys that Chavez beat as all times greats is because Chavez beat them black and blue. Chavez knocked the **** out of so many guys that were strong up and comers and couldnt go on any more once Chavez beat the crap out of all of them. Chavez beat every single top guy out there in his prime......nuff said.
We are not hating dude. That's different from presenting arguments. Hating is when you call a person a chicken and yet you don't present arguments to back it up.
I don't hate Chavez but the fact is, he got his bloated record fighting bums. And we all know what we call a fighter who fights bums on a constant basis. A bum himself.
When it was high time to deliver against elites, he got beat. The rationale is really simple if you take a look at it. An elite beats other elites in convincing fashion. Not lose to them.
Might as well call Joe Louis bum, for fighting bums. Whats that trem they called his opponets "Bum of the month."
Every since Chavez win over Taylor people hate Chavez. And take a look at the Whitiker v. Chavez fight and count how many times Whitker hits Chavez low, over 20 times, yet Chavez didnt retaliate but once if any.
Chavez is an all-time great like it or not. He fought opponets that he didn't have to fight, but did so, so he can stay sharp. Unlike, the current fighters of today. Last I seen Mayweather fight, he looked like he is slipping or could be caused by not fighting enough.
You see fighters today are more lazier and more richers and see it as a huge risk to fight an unknown fighter who is hunger. Not Chavez, he wanted to stay sharp and fought unname fighters, but who were hungry to win and make a name for themselfs.
If you don't respect Chavez or what he's done in boxing, how can you respect any other fighter, with out desperately trying to point out some negative **** about him.
