Chavez was doing good for the first half and started to slow down and get schooled. I for one think Whitaker beat him good but not really the ass beating people think it was since JCC came out unharmed. I feel Whitaker won but Whitaker ran for his life through the whole fight ever since Chavez came out strong in the first round. I have the fight on dvd with the 30 minute pre hype show so Ive seen the fight plenty of times. Every time Chavez added pressure he was getting to Whitaker and then for some reason would slow down and stand with him with distance and would get countered. I dont know why but when he hit 30 he wasent the pressure fighter he once was anymore.

A lot of fights.....a lot of money/success....a possible drinking problem.

I just think, fighting the way he did, & as often as he did.....he would be worn out by a fairly young age.

Yeah, cause if you look at a young Chavez and a 30 year old Chavez, he did not have the same stamina anymore.

A lot of fighters fought like Chavez, if having over 100 fights makes you great, than Reggie Strikland is an All Time great too.

Hector Camacho was great, but not enuff to make him super great. Infact, the best fighters he actually beat were Puerto Rican. Remenber he lost to Laporte too.

Your opinion is moot on this subject. You & the Pinoys should sit this debate out, & suck each other off.
Bunch of misinformed midgets that you are.

Also take into consideration Camacho was not undefeated when Chavez fought him, he was already falling off.

lolol, Chavez would have whooped his ass anytime in his career. Camacho was running scared of Chavez for years till he finally fought him.

Yeah right. You think Chavez fought bums year after to year to have Camacho running scared of fighting him? If Camacho did not lose, Chavez would of never fought him, as to why Chavez ducked Trinidad.
