      He never ran. Boxing is hit and not be hit. Chavez's motto was hit and get hit. That's not boxing by a purists definition of the sport.

          Chavez was washed up when he fought DeLaHoya. He fought Oscar, especially the second time, because of the $$$$$.
          He wouldn't have goten nearly as much money to face Trinidad, who would have badly KO'd him at that point.
