Why compare him with the WW Floyd? At SFW Mayweather was superior in this category.

It's that blackness. Roy Jones beat James Toney and Bernard Hopkins. Montell Griffin beat James Toney. Roy Jones beat Montell Griffin.

You know damn well what I mean. Black fighters have that rhythm, that speed, that athleticism.

Bernard Hopkins said what I'm saying. He said this in an interview after Mayweather-Canelo. B-Hop was talking about how blacks generally have a natural athletism, Mexicans generally have naturally good chins, etc. He was talking in general. You know what I mean, knock it off.

No, like if Rigo would magically grow in bone and muscle. Purely hypothetical. Not if he got big from water weight, fat, and added-on muscle (like Roy Jones at heavyweight).

No, no, no. Not in reality. Imagine Rigo was magically the same size as Mayweather, without compromising anything (i.e. getting fat, bloated, added on muscle like Roy Jones at heavyweight.) Purely hypothetical. Imagine Rigo's natural weight was 140 like Mayweather.

I think Rigo has the style to beat Mayweather (on points).

He's black, fast, elite lateral movement, and has powerful counter punches.

Mayweather's style works best against opponents with limited athleticism. Rigo's black; he's got that rhythm.
lol is that really necessary... and I don't get what your Jones, Toney and Griffin example illustrates. That they're all black? You could just as easily have said he's athletic.

It would be the chess match of all chess matches. AKA as exciting as watching a chess match

At 147 Mayweather is a bigger puncher and Rigo would definitely lose some speed and power and probably not take shots as well at the higher weight. Mayweather wins because he is more complete (fights better on the inside, better at initiating offense from distance) and would cut the ring off if he pressed the action and land the stronger more effective shots on the inside. If his jab causes Rigo to have to chase him around it will be an easy UD and possible stoppage. If he chases Rigo than I think a tough decision.

At 130 Floyd definitely too much for Rigo. Too fast and slick and wayyyyyy too strong. Floyd stoppage no matter how the fight plays out.

You also have to know that Hopkins said and this is true,it's the boxing culture that makes them Different. Basically the school and boxing style u were trained and raised to fight in, not any type of athletic ability besides fast hand speed and power.

Rigondeaux is the easy choice obviously. I clicked perhaps due to a knee-jerk reaction, similar to how Floyd lovers are voting No.

The Donaire fight is well in our past but some here don't seem able to get over it.
