Monzon and Hagler didn't fight in the era of super middleweights. Moving up for them was going from 160 to 175. There's a difference between that and moving from 160 to 168.Comment

Abel Sanchez, trainer of WBA/IBO middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin, has serious doubts that WBC champion Sergio Martinez (51-2-2, 28KOs) will face them in 2014 - even if the Argentine fighter defeats Miguel Cotto on June 7th. Golovkin will return on April 26th at The Theater in New York's Madison Square Garden, likely against Andy Lee.
so they don't won't to move up because they're fighting Martinez but how can that be if Martinez is ducking him?
you see half the stuff they say makes no sense. it wouldn't be a problem but I hate the double standard. Golovkin's team is allowed to be totally hypocritical but if anybody else did the same the same huggers would be would be destroying that fighter.Comment

that's kinda funny how u're predictable... expected the **** identical to that u just typed above
Has Ward been fighting cans like Golovkin doing?
R u being serious talking this way?
Why should i ask him of something if the guy got the most solid opposition during the past few years?
And u call urself "not a hater"
jeezComment

I think you know what that is about. Certain fighters have to go above and beyond to prove themselves to certain posters- while other guys like GGG can beat bum afterbum and its ok.Comment

Golovkin has not been fighting bums. The fact you are calling his opponents bums suggests that you (and not for the first time) are as guilty of that which you criticize in others. The reality is that every fighter is criticized by at least some posters on here regardless of what they do and nothing is likely to change their minds.Comment
