While Hearn attempts to make a breakthrough with Froch and Groves, he is assessing the Cobra's other options.
A fight against Julio Cesar Chavez Jr is certainly a possibility but a clash with unbeaten WBA and IBO champion Gennady Golovkin is also exciting the Matchroom Promotions chief.
"The Chavez fight is very live and I'm talking to HBO about Gennady Golovkin," added Hearn. "As a fan, Froch v Golovkin, for me, is boxing ****.
"I spoke to Carl, he likes the fight."Comment

Im pretty sure we can all agree that we want Ward to fight Adonis/Kovalev.
But I cant be the only GGG fan who wants to ses Ward/GGG. I got both in my favorite 10, but some of you guys are posting like you don't want to see that fight. Of course some want guys to move up to lose (Floyd, Pac). But sometimes you have to move up for a challenge, if no one good is willing to fight you (Adonis, GGG). 160 been ducking GGG for like 2years now, Quillon excluded. Hbo wont work with GB, and GGG said they're loyal to HBO. I mean honest question, do you guys want to see Ward/GGG? If so, can you agree that fight has to happen before Ward moves up?Comment

Kid Chocolate is not running. He's a GBP fighter, which means he's exclusive to Showtime. Which means the fight can't be made at the moment. Sturm is on his last leg and is very fortunate the Barker situation happen like it did. And at this point, a fight with he and GGG would pretty much be a waste of time. Serg had better options on the table. If GGG's purpose for staying at 60 is to unify titles. He's gonna be there a long time fighting a lotta meaningless opponens while "waiting." More power to him.Comment

So as a GGG fan. Are you content watching him fight stiffs waiting on a Martinez fight that possibily won't happen until the end of 2015? And that's assuming Martinez doesn't get knocked off between now and then. Because if he loses to Cotto or Canelo. Both of those guys will have better options that GGG. Which is likely to push his title shot back even further.Comment

Why is it that GGG's fans seem cool with, and even embrace him fighting Floyd. And almost act as if Floyd not wanting to fight him (I don't know if Floyd wants it or not. Never heard him speak publically about GGG) would be a duck. Then turn around and make every excuse under the sun as to why GGG shouldn't fight Ward. Kinda hypocritical don't you think?Comment
