Before this fight (Canelo-Trout) I thought Mayweather would school him, but I've changed my pick I don't think he goes anywhere near Canelo now.

If Canelo lands the punches Victor Ortiz landed, Mayweather gets hurt. What his power did to a much bigger man in Trout will weigh more heavily on Floyd who doesn't have the mobility to avoid the shots for 12 rounds anymore.

I picked Cotto to beat Alvarez before this fight too, but I'm reversing that call. Alvarez stops him, he's much better than I thought he was.

He beat two Top 10 WW's, one as a heavy underdog so his ranking was justified at the time. He was #3 anyway not #2 on second thought.

The Boone win is irrelevant. Cloud and Dawson coming off loss's and Bellew's not good at all.

It has basis IMO or atleast he's in the running he beat two Top 3 ranked fighters across 2 weight divisions one of which was supposed to be one of the biggest threats of his career so yeah, I'd say it's justified.

Anyone who is not taking into account that Mayweather broke the PPV rec is just being foolish and a bit unfair as well..Not only did Mayweather fight the guy everyone wanted him to fight,but he beat him easy and broke PPV rec's at the same time..Clearly a top guy for FOTY..

What does that have to even do with anything? The award is not called PPV star of the year. It's not called "legacy of the year" which makes no sense. And it's not called "Bank Account of the year".

Severe weightdraining, like Dawson in the Ward fight, will have a lasting impact on a fighter.
