Those two wins are the reasons Froch gained P4P status and how Calzaghe maintained his.
If a person considers a fight a threat going in they can't change their mind when it's convenient to them.

Floyd UD'd Canelo whose only real win was...wait for it...Austin Trout (disputed) who just lost to Lara.
Stevenson KO'd Ring champ Dawson whose best win was atg Bernard Hopkins.
Stevenson TKO'd IBF champ Cloud whose best win was Glen Johnson
Stevenson KO'd #6 Bellew whose best win was #7 Isaac Chilemba
Stevenson avenged a KO defeat by stopping Darnell Boone in 6 rounds
This guy is running through the best in the division (three top 6 opponents incl. the champ) and you want to give the award to Mayweather for beating a blown up lightweight and a guy with no resume.
Yeah we can't see your agenda whatsoever. Dawson was also coming off a god damn beat down at the hands of Andre Ward. Now Ward shouldn't get credit for that win because it was at 168, but that doesn't change the fact Dawson was beat down in that fight.

Rigondeaux's win and performance against Donaire was the best of the year.
I have no problem with anyone having Rigo their FOTY,for me tho..I don't agree, but to say Bradley has no claim is down right foolish..Bradley had a very big yr this yr..Not only was he in the FOTY,he beat a legend and has overall won a ton of respect within the fight game..He's is clearly a candidate..

I think people are going to say Floyd didn't deserve it if he does win, but that's bull.
Any of these four getting it wouldn't be wrong....
Mayweather, Rigondeaux, Bradley, Garcia.
I don't think Stevenson beating Dawson coming off a beat down, Cloud who everyone knew was garbage and coming off losses, Bellew who isn't anything special whatsoever, and Boone is FOTY. Maidana should probably be comeback fighter of the year, with his wins over Lopez (who last time at 147 stopped Ortiz) and Broner, but not FOTY. Kovalev had a good year. Campillo was a very solid win, and Cleverly was a decent win over a Top 10 LHW. His other two fights were basically irrelevant. Sillakh has never done jack, and the other guy was a random journeymen if I'm not mistaken. So are Cleverly and Campillo better wins than Guerrero and Canelo, or Lucas and Judah, or Marquez and Provo, or Donaire and Agbeko. I don't think so.
Rigondeaux has the absolute best win, dominated and out classed Top 5 P4P Donaire. But his year took a slight hit fighting Agbeko, who was out of his weight class and basically irrelevant since 2011. That wasn't a good fight at all. Had Rigondeaux fought anyone in the Top 10 at 122, it would be him hands down probably. But Agbeko was irrelevant.
Bradley got the 2nd best win over Top 5 P4P Marquez, and he beat him handily, no matter how much Dirk tries to spin this. I can't see anyone making a case for JMM winning that fight at all. But in his other fight, though he won, he struggled to beat Provo at 147. Fight could have gone either way. Bradley takes a minor hit for that.
Garcia beating Lucas was HUGE as well. Damn near everyone picked him to lose and get stopped within 5-6 rounds. But he beat Lucas handily, and proved he was the best 140 fighter in the world. He also packed a decent win at 140 over Judah, but decent at best. Judah also pushed Garcia to the brink late in the fight, it's not as if Garcia dominated Judah at all, he struggle big time late.
Mayweather beating Guerrero was a solid win. Guerrero though it was Aydin and Berto, still packed 2 wins over Top 10 WW's going in. Guerrero was a solid win. But Floyd made his case big time with Canelo, who was coming off beating Trout while Trout was at his highest point, and someone people were claiming Canelo and Floyd would duck. Canelo was the #1 at 154, and Floyd out classed him completely. What really makes a case for Floyd, as well as Rigo, is Floyd lost maybe 2-3 rounds all year, and BOTH of his opponents were Top 3 in those weight classes, and Floyd won two lineal titles this year. Not to mention everyone was saying Floyd would duck Canelo.
Any of these four would be fine though.

If he get's it he'll be the only fighter (Off the top of my head) to win the FOTY in 3 separate decades.

He was beaten around the ring like a ragdoll at times by a guy who'd never been at world level in his life. The very fact that it was FOTY - i.e competitive - should really discount Bradley considering the way in which Mayweather, Rigo and co just dominated and outclassed their opponents. Bradley never did that to anyone.
The Fighter of the Year means you were the best fighter this year. How does that correlate with struggling and nearly getting KO'd by a guy who was supposed to be a cherry pick comeback fight?
