This might be the funniest thread i've ever seen ...some of you people are absolutely ridiculous...

    Floyd > Rigondeaux (at everything)

Rigondeaux has better offense??? NO but : He's a really patient fighter, showing amazing prowesses with some good power.
Floyd's power is underestimated to a point where people say he has no power.
Rigondeaux has better defense??? HELL NO but: He has a really good sense of timing and countering.
    Floyd's defense is a masterpiece. Cmon people....smh
Rigondeaux has better footwork??? Debatable: Rigondeaux has slightly better movements when avoiding/evading punches but not better at footwork as a whole.
Floyd's footwork overall is way better, knows how to properly cut the ring, evade, change stance but i'll admit Rigondeaux's evading is as smooth as butter.

    Rigondeaux is 5′ 4½ ...........................
Marquez is 5'6 and you guys saw how small he was compared to Floyd.

Rigondeaux is 33 years old and his biggest name up to date is Donaire.
Floyd is 36 years old and people call him the "cherry picker".
Who has a resume with: Corrales, Vargas, Gatti, Judah, Baldomir, De La Hoya, Hatton
    Marquez, Mosley, Cotto

"Guerrero is wack, Alvarez is 23 years old with 1 less fight than floyd (he got brought up too fast he's the future tho" and Ortiz chin is a big zero."

Holy **** the nerve of some of you.

(I'll edit with more of my thoughts later on or tomorrow ..im in a rush LOL)

I don't think anyone would outbox GR P4P but that doesn't mean he can't be beaten. Donaire was a little more stink away from knocking him out late.

        Gamboa would outbox both P4P

FYI Donaire is better than anybody Floyd's ever beaten and its not close

Absolutely not. Donaire isn't that great, and he doesn't adapt all that well in the ring. Also you're comparing speed and precision which is hard to do p4p. Rigo's only fight has been Donaire, and as for speed smaller guys naturally "look" faster. Rigo wouldn't beat Floyd, Floyds inside game is tough and if you think Rigo can dodge a clinch all night and then not get beaten up inside you're mistaken.

Rigo is cleary a top 3 p4p guy, but lets be real, he has 1 outstanding win vs donaire, and he has a very good shutout of agebako, but still its only 2 wins, whereas floyd has a whole career of them, plus he has moved thru weightclasses..

I posted earlier that i realize Rigo turned pro late, and he wont have the same benefits of moving thru weightclasses like floyd did, but in reality, it should be no big deal for Rigo to move up to 126 for big money fights like donaire rematch, lomanchenko, etc

i think rigo is getting overrated alot of those 2 wins, he is clearly top 3 p4p, and if he keeps winning vs top guys like agebako and donaire, i have no problem with him moving higher up..
But lets just wait and see how he does. Right now he has gotten to the mountain top, but the hardest thing in boxing is staying on top, not getting there. Rigo just needs a few more top level wins to really pass up ward and floyd..

Rigo is a great counterpuncher, but floyd is much more diverse, i have yet to see Rigo on his toes using lateral movement, have yet to see him walk a guy down, havent seen him trap a guy in the corner, havent seen him trapped on the ropes and fight off them, havent seen him vs a super aggressive fighter ie hatton, castillo, etc

We have all seen floyd in numerous situations and has always adapted and won

Rigo all we have seen is him stand in the center of the ring and counter. Yes he is an amazing counterpuncher and defender, but it still only one dimension, until i see more i cant have him higher than floyd IMO

donaire is better than floyd's recent wins, but Donaire was not as good as a castillo, genaro, corrales

Donaire was a good fighter, but he always needed to be the bigger more athletic guy,,,
I had him top 5 p4p when rigo undressed him, so i do consider that a great win, i just dont think that donaire is as good as the guys i mentioned

And one big win doesnt make you the greatest, Tarver beat p4p #1 jones, but you couldnt say he is better than floyd

Well said man, you've been on a roll. The bold is what I've been trying to say but people don't want to hear it. Again, it's not a knock, I wouldn't change my approach if my first approach is that effective either.

Mayweather is many levels below Rigo skill-wise, speed-wise, P4P-punching-power-wise !

Rigo doesn't adapt to his opponent's style, he comes to the ring to impose his style !
Rigo offense is very underrated here ! actually I don't consider him a defensive boxer ! he was the more offensive in every single fight of his professional career, even against pure offensive boxer like Donaire !
Rigo doesn't spare his energy to the later rounds, he fights round 1 exactly the same as round 12
Rigo is a master amateur boxer who is competing professionally , he fights to win every single round !

Rigo is a boxing machine !

No, not a chance in hell.

That would be a horrible fight for Floyd.
