    Is that how it works?
you are missing the point bro.. P4P means you have the skills to make a splash on a weight class you can't even weigh on fight night..

Rigo is great, the argument is valid as per OP. There are just other posters that is sick of him asking for catchweight at this stage of his career. Either go up or stop on calling the guys above your weight if you are not willing to fight them on their weight..

don't get me wrong, rigo would school a lot of 126 and 130 guys. he have the tools. but like any other posters, i want him to do what i think he is capable of doing.

Not if he fights offensively like he did against canelo Rigo would win and Rigo never deviates from his gameplan unless he needs to adjust so my guess is nobody would punch each other in this fight lol

I honestly cant see a scenario of any current boxer out boxing Rigo... Stylistically it'll take a guy with nerves of steel and a chin to go with it and non stop punching (Rigo hits HARD though and even a great chin will get cracked eventually) imo. As amazing as Floyd is Rigo p4p is possibly the only dude possessing that type of skillset who had better attributes than floyd (even if its by a small margin p4p Rigo is faster on his feet and hands and hits harder from the dreaded southpaw stance). Rigo is a nightmare. If it wasnt for his few moments of "weakness" where he got touched he'd be the ideal BOXER. If they made super boxers (not fighters) in a lab theyd fight like Rigo. That being said Floyd is floyd... Somethin about him and rigo both where i dont see either ever being outboxed in this era. Not p4p.

What I like about Rigo is that even though he gets s hit for his style, he doesnt like being last. Hes prideful and never lets you get momentum and always tries to be the last one to hit... And harder too. We saw it against Donaire. Stood in and traded if Donaire lande anything and held it down. Hes like the ultimate boxer troll. "Nice right hand? Dont mind if i land three harder shots and make you miss the rest of the round -troll fce-

Yeah Rigo hits hard, but would he carry the power up? it's not about hard shots with these 2, it's about shots u don't see, that's why no one comes on to them

Since when has that been what p4p is? Its just a subjective assessment of skills and resume.

He said he'd rather stay at 122lb because he is small for the weight. When asked about fighting guys from 126 he says he'd rather do it at a catchweight so to limit the size advantage. Same as Mayweather does, same as Manny does.

Personally i agree he could could be good enough to go to 126, but he does t have too... Same as Manny and FM don't have to go to full 154 limit if they don't want too. Hell Mayweather only did it to be part of the biggest promotion of all time.

Floyd actually hits harder than advertised according to the people hes fought. But Rigo is a big puncher regardless (can hurt you even if you see it coming). Rigo is already pretty small at 122 but he can still hurt some 126 guys like Vic (newly there) amd Donaire, Mares etc but not a huge guy like Garcia (though not sure maybe he CAN hurt Garcia, specifically) was when he was there. He shouldn't move up but its nice to see hes still open to facing some of them so long as they meet him halfway. Being outweighed by 10+ pounds at those weights is a lot.

That is not what pound for pound be. Someone who is pound for pound could more than likely punch above his weight against certain opponents, but the actual term means the best when removing the weight factor.
