Who the **** has Rigo fought to even be considered on Floyd's level? Donaire? Agbeko? Lmao! Rigo would get ko'd if he moved up in weight and wouldn't make it to his 4th or 5th division like Floyd. Rigo is good but he's not half as good as Floyd. Let Floyd fight an Agbeko or Kennedy caliber fighter and see how badly he outclasses them. The only southpaw comparable to Floyd is the great Pernell Sweet Pea Whitaker.

      Thats a great point,,,

If rigo is so much better than floyd p4p,,, then rigo should have no problem going up to feather for donaire rematch or 130 for garcia

      floyd has been at 130, 135, 140, 147, 154 thats five divisions

Rigo has been to 122, so lets see him do 126, 130, 135, 140 that would be his 5 divisions,,,

Do you really think rigo can go up all those weight classes,,, lets even consider the fact that rigo got a late pro start in life,, so we can cut the divisions in half, instead of 5 just do 3,,, that would leave feather and superfeather,,, thats were all the big money fights are for him,,,

let him go to 126, 130 and fight donaire rematch, lomanchenko, salido, garcia, gambo,, etc

Lets see him do that before you proclaim him better than floyd who has been on top since 1998,,,,, 15 years vs 1 year,,,, SMH at some of you posters

Thats already been explained in this thread. Floyd turned pro in at what, 19? 20? His body still had a lot more filling out to do. eing the exceptional talent he is he managed to win titles in all the divisions he fought in.

Rigo turned pro in his late 20's. He is not getting any bigger naturally. the people he's fighting at 122 are already bigger than him, going to 126 he would be even smaller.

Floyd is in his what 5th or 6th weight class....

Pacquiao in his what 8th or 9th weight class....

meanwhile Rigo is scared to fight at 126lbs and is demanding a catch weight to fight at a weight class he is perfectly suited for.

          DISGUSTING.

So I take it Floyd should go to Middleweight to keep up with Manny right?

Why can't people understand this? It's like demanding Floyd or Pac to fight permanently at junior middleweight when neither guy walks into the ring much more than 150. Rigondeaux isn't even weighing 126 on fight night, demanding he move up is ******. I'm sure he would move up for a fight that was worth it, just like Mayweather and Pacquiao.

rigo needs to stop being a little beyotch and fight at 126 since that is where all the big names and legacy fights are and he should stop requesting for catch weights for a weight class he is perfectly suited for. floyd and manny asking for catch weights is completely reasonable and understandable considering they have traversed a lot of weight classes.

that's how you should take it.

                  This makes zero sense.

So Rigo fought in 1 weight class. Ricky Hatton fought in 2. Clearly Hatton is the better boxer right?

                  Is that how it works?

rigo is a 122 pounder who comes in 126 pounds fight night. Thatīs a flyweight in oxnard.

Right now, in boxing skills, the only fighter who can stand there with Floyd is this guy. His footwork is better, and his hand speed too. But he is not a seasoned pro as Floyd and dont show all what he could, and he is not 1#. First Floyd, second Rigo imo.

I think they're on similar level. Yes I do believe Rigondeaux is really that good... as well as Ward. Too bad they're not the same weight to tell us who's truly the best.
