Groves got hurt with a big shot but come back and took over the fight before stopping Anderson fairly and squarely that has happened many times in the game a rematch in not mandatory if the money is not there. Totally different to a fight that Groves was conclusively dominating in nearly every round against Froch and was stopped the first time he was wobbled after making Froch bandy several times.

The stoppage in the Anderson fight was very premature. Anderson decked Groves in the previous round and then as soon as Groves got on top for a sustained period of time, the referee jumped in.

As for the Degale fight Groves got the decision i felt he edged it but it was very close, they will fight again but both men know it next time it needs to be for big money an immediate rematch would have made micky mouse money without a proper title being up for grabs. Rest assured none of Degales backers wanted him in with Groves again until it was for big wedge because losing again would have killed his career stone dead.

As for "micky mouse money" - how much money did Groves get to face Paul Smith or Franciso Sierra or all the other bums he fought? I assume they were all huge paydays since a DeGale rematch was "micky mouse money"

Let's not forget that Groves-DeGale I was a complete stinker that would never be a PPV fight again straight after. Both fighters knew they'd make much more down the line and DeGale acted like a little girl as Groves signed with Warren pretty much immediately after the fight and dropped out - making the fight harder to make.

Chunky hopefully pulls through the eliminator. I'm more psyched about that fight than the main event, because that one is a win-win for me. Although I'd want Froch to smash Groves, but Groves and Degale winning would set up a mega fight between the two. IBF does enforce their mandatories.

Yes I have actually. As Froch says in the video, he's asked for the rematch ever since. Frank Warren appealed to the board ffs!

But carry on pedalling the Hayemaker propaganda about how they both agreed to wait for a rematch and how DeGale only asked for it once in the post-fight press conference despite appealing to the board...lol
