I must have missed the Groves-Anderson rematch. Do you have a youtube link, bro?

So a fighter gets injured when a rematch has been granted & stripped off the title = refusing to give a rematch?

I know you can do better than that

At least mention stieglitz or something.

So Groves got injured (Hayemaker injury). Why does that prevent a rematch from taking place later?

He pulled out twice aswell I think.

Groves goes to Froch - "So you've never pulled out with an injury?"

          Froch- "No"

Groves "Never postponed a fight through injury?"

          Froch - "No"

Groves - ******ed look on his face.

Well for one Kenny Anderson retired after defeating Robin Reid, making a rematch pretty hard to make.

But I guess that's just a minor point

So do we still have to go over his "refusal" to give a retired boxer a rematch, for which he was actually scheduled only to get stripped - and the fighter in question, Anderson, gladly taking the opportunity to fight for the vacant belt?

                  Come on, that's a little far-fetched. Wouldn't you say?

I know he got banned for drugs. Retired...?

I have mixed up the timeline for this. I forgot Groves actually pulled out of the fight more than once....lol thanks for reminding me.

Yeah I'm pretty sure he's serving a two year ban at the moment.

Not aware if he's retired. Pretty sure he hasn't announced it.

Where did you get that from LacedUp?
