Smoger swayed the fight towards Hopkins looked fishy.

Investigate Smoger hampering Murat the whole fight. See Smoger hugging Hopkins after the fight. Hugging him? smells fishy.

Also, Murat initiated or held onto headlocks after he was told to break before any of the BS really started to heat up.

Rabbit punches are much closer to your spine(or on the spine), or the back of your head.

I can recall this happening I think two times, one of them I can recall Murat getting hit clean to turning around with his guard up and Hopkins didn't like that he decided to about face.
What difference does that make? Whether he did it in retaliation or not it's still illegal.

Hopkins obviously recognised Murat's tactics and gave him a taste of his own medicine. I'm all for that.

The problem is he should have been warned which he wasn't. Especially for an obvious and blatant foul.

When Hatton was hit low by Tszyu and he went and did it right back infront of the ref, he was rightfully warned for it.

Murat had his back turned, yes.

Hopkins hit him in the side, yes.

It wasn't that hard of a punch, no.

But, the ref said break, and Hopkins blatantly right infront of the ref punched him on that break.

He wasn't warned, and it speaks for itself.

i would've just thought he was a bad ref until he hugged Bernard and face shoved Murat.

Again, I don't think anyone is dis*****g who was more dirty.

It's pretty clear that Murat was by far the dirtier fighter.

The issue is Hopkins broke the rules and got away with everything. Even blatant and clear fouls whereas Murat was talked to or warned every single time.

I think the operative word is blatant.

Bernard pulls a lot of his **** on the blind-side of the ref. And, most of it's petty, to p*ss off his opponent.

That said, Smoger seemed to blind himself in search of Bernard's warm approval. This is the first fight I've been critical of him. He normally puts in a stellar shift.

Lol Smoger always does that. There is a thread from 2011 titled "Smoger needs to stop kissing and hugging fighters"

Anyways, Smoger was lenient on Murat. Any other ref would have DQ'd him. Murat wad very fortunate.

Obviously Murat was alot worse than Hopkins and could easily have been DQ'd.

The problem is Hopkins did his share of illegal stuff, whether it was in retaliation or not (Still illegal) and wasn't warned once (Although apparently now he was warned in between Smoger's nice convo's with Bern in the corner)

It's a clear and obvious bias in his refereeing for this fight.

Smoger's one of the best ref's in the game but he had a bad night, it happens.

People denying it is outright hilarious though.
But Murat's fouls were blatant, in Smogers line of vision and could have caused serious injury.

Luckily Smoger kept Murat in check
You are talking out of your arse. Have you not noticed that Buttkins has built the entire last 3rd of his career on blatant fouling?
