    The man is 48 oops I mean 49 years old as of January 2014 - WTF is anyone on here complaining about or even having something to say ?? This cat has earned the right to do / say / complain / judge / critique / whatever the *** he likes - who in THE *** do any of you on here know that is 48 / 49 that can go 12 rounds and mind you (he is the champ) and defend their title? in any sport ? it truly angers me, because you guys are on a site called boxingscene, but do not know how to appreciate boxing or what goes into it. you cannot judge this man like you do his contemporaries because on average he probably has 15 + years of age on them. He is a living legend in all of its essence, Smoger knows what he witnessed in there, what he showed Bhop was what people call respect, not biased, but respect. Boxing is one of the if not most brutal sports around - B hop is probably the same age or older than Richardson his trainer - do you understand ? Murat was out of control with the fouls period, Hopkins got his warnings also... but to trip on the man's trainer for speaking on it?

      I've never seen Murat fight before, so I don't know if that's his regular style or if he just did it w/Hopkins... but he was fouling alot. But then BHop has done plenty of dirty tricks thru the years, so in the grand scheme of things, it's pretty much even, as far as I can see. Hilarious though, at the end Smoger basically pushed Kurat in the mug and told him to get the f outta there. Great stuff. HA

          They're complaining about Richardson's comments and the performance of the referee. I don't think anyone is criticising Hopkins, who didn't complain, the opposite in fact.

            I wonder what ****m thought about super tough philly fighter, buttkins pretending Calzaghe had hit him in the nuts and rolling around on the floor feigning injury when he had in fact been tapped on the thigh? Even when Hopkins isnt fouling, he still tries to cheat. Veteran tricks, eh!

              So should we give buttkins special dispensation to foul his way through fights with no sanction just because he is daft enough to still be fighting at near fifty? I wish they'd done the same for Holyfield, it might have made a fight with Wlad interesting!

                It's hilarious.
                I remember that. Hops should get called out on his flopping. Almost as bad as a soccer player.

                Every one of his opponents should fight him that way.

                  [QUOTE=IronDanHamza;13883800]Nonsense.

                  He warned Murat or gave words to him several times before that.

                  Exactly like you said, warn both.

                  He literally warned Murat moments before Hopkins blatantly fouled him and then proceeded to say nothing to Hopkins.

                  Black and white, clear, blatant favouritism.

                  No Hopkins was winning with his fist you warn a boxer when her keeps on repeating fouls wow Hopkins taps him once and yes its damn tap you little girl. Did he do it no if he did I bet Smoger would've warned him. But since Murat keep repeating the fouls he got warned more. Like other people are saying if it was another referee he would have got disqualified. I'm glad Hopkins punished him instead of complaining to the ref like you would probably would you big baby.
