i agree that kostya was more proven. he's a hall of famer, but in terms of career trajectory, i think hatton caught kostya at a better time then it seemed danny caught matthysse.
That's true. I've always liked Peterson, but I don't think he's elite. As in top of the 140 division. Even before Matthysse I picked Khan, Garcia, Rios, Alvarado, Matthysse and all these guys to beat him. And I still say that.

Absolutely, he retired after Hatton, so of course he wasn't in his prime. But hindsight is just a beautiful thing. Anyone who was there at the time, knew how much of an underdog Ricky was.

Danny beat Khan and the Machine, two fighters that you would have made 10x your bet money in vegas if you would have put it on Danny. Ricky Hatton is great, but lets not act like this isn't worthy of discussion.

Possibly and if Mayweather goes down to 140 to fight him he'll get full credit. Like Pacquiao did Hatton. If he fights him at 147 he gets nothing from me or anyone else that isn't addicted to his jizz

i know. i think it was similar to a fight that happened recently, can't quite put my finger on it though.

Let's not pretend as if Danny was a 10-1 underdog here.

Arguing? I think you are misunderstanding me. I'm discussing. but if you don't wish to continue, good day to you as well.

Btw, I caught that as you saying i'm trying to put down Lucas' credibility because he lost to Danny, which wasn't my intention. I may have misunderstood you.

                  It's close.

Hatton beat Tszyu, Maussa, Collazo, Paulie, Lazcano.

Garcia's beaten Khan, Morales, Judah, Lucas.

Garcia is certainly Top 10 P4P now. I'd say they are in similar spots when Mayweather fought Hatton.

Mayweather hasn't been at 140 in 8 years, so forget that. Garcia is nearly the same size as Mayweather.

I don't care about size. What has Garcia done at 147? what world class fighter has he beat at 147?
