    No it wasn't.

He had gone from being El Terrible to just being terrible.

Are we talking about a comparison between Tszuy who was topping the p4p listings, and who everybody wanted to fight Floyd Mayweather?

lol. come on guys, be serious.

So he's still got some time to go, but it's possible.
I think Khan and Matthysse are most certainly better than anything Hatton has other than Tszyu.

Judah is possibly better than most things Hatton did.

I wouldn't say "everyone" wanted to see that fight between Mayweather and Tszyu.

Was a natural fight to be made at 140 but as we know couldn't be made.

Tszyu definitely was passed his best, still a top P4P fighter though and a huge win for Hatton.

yes. that still doesn't mean that he wasn't and old and half retired. i don't understand why it's such a terrible thing to think it's a fairly close call between the two. all of a sudden lucas is chopped liver?

Possibly. My point was that Hatton has more quality wins. Garcia has two thus far and a couple of decent wins.

I'm a big fan of his, but Hatton's resume is stronger. To think some say Matthysse was a better win than Tszuy...

Because Matthysse has never beaten a top fighter and Tszuy has. They were on two different levels, people just built Matthysse up to be superman, which he wasn't at all.

No, it's not. I see Matthysse is getting some afterlife in the poll.

Wow, I remember it being the talk of the time. A lot of people wanted to see it and they were asked about it quite often. Not on the levels of a mayweather pac fight or ODLH, but a big fight.

It's like saying if Cotto had beaten Mayweather that he was half retired and old. Naturally, he was past his best, but still expected to win against Hatton and failed.
