    razor close........

this was prime 147 cotto.........(unless his prime begin before the mosley fight)
7 rounds to 5 rounds is close, but he clearly won. Another poster in this thread said the same thing. I'm not saying Mosley winning is a terrible decision, but Cotto deserved that decision.

Cotto-Clottey in NYC, a judge scored it for Clottey. Cotto-Trout in NYC and they somehow gave Trout 10 rounds Cotto can lose fights in NYC.

Clottey in my humble opinion busted up Cotto much more than Shane did

I didn't bring race into anything, Puerto Rican isn't a race. I did assume you were from Puerto Rico though. Maybe I was wrong about that because you obviously have some kind of agenda here. Mayweather hater?

Sure, break down why you'd favor Cotto to beat Mayweather in some fantasy prime for prime fight. This should be good for a laugh.

so cottos prime was against quintana & gomez but not mosley? this doesn't make sense. in the mosley fight he's not prime but 1 fight after mosley he's prime & then after that one fight of prime he loses to marg & falls out of his prime............

and against quintana he's prime, but 3 fights later he falls out of his prime against mosley? what.

this is a serious question.....when was cottos prime?

The Quintana fight THROUGH the Gomez fight. That make more sense? Includes the fights in between.

Never been accused of being Mayweather hater. It's sad that just because you think the guy might lose a fight, you're labeled Nationalistic or a Hater of him. No objectivity at all.

If I break it down, you'll just put "LMAO, Floyd dominates doe". Nobody on here should ever complain about Larryx again, he's an objective fan. Some of these Floyd fans are repugnant.

This is prizefighting. If you want to pretend that professionals fight for any other reason be my guest. If you think the fights taken when floyd was out was rooted in competition then you are sadly nieve. Bob made the fights that made him the most money. Period.

If you think when an ODH or a Floyd indicates they want to fight you don't turn it down. Its the most you can get.

You seem like a reasonable boxing fan. As such, you understand that guys like PWill and Margs are going to have a tougher road tha say Canelo or Broner-young guys who show an ability to draw at a young age. YOu also knowfloyd started out as a "high risk, low reward" guy and made himself into a star. You know that business decisions are made when building a star fighter.

GGG is the most recent and best example. Mora calls him out but HBO wont do the fight because they dont want to risk GGG looking awkward and not getting a KO. Is he ducking Mora? of course not. Same with Manny and Zahhir Raheem. Nonito -Rigo is an example of why you don't do these things.

You are entitled to your opinion but frankly, I know you understand how things work in boxing.
