well you should be talking about later because floyd was exposed when manny agreed to all his demands and floyd still wouldn't fight. we found out it was never about the testing, but you want to ignore all the evidence and just have tunnel vision. lets hope you are never selected for jury duty.

LMAOJ-- I also think floyd is a great fighter and the best of his era,,, but he just ahsnt proved it enough in the ring for me to blindly say he beats all those guys.....
An old part-time fighter oscar lost a split dec,,, now if it was oscar 99, no doubt that oscar beats him in a close fight,,, same thing with shane,,, shane catches floyd in 00, the fight is done because shane wouldnt be so damn old with no legs,,,,
Plus a shot cotto, at times put it on floyd,,, so did augustus, and zab,,, no doubt in my mind that tito would walk floyd down, and beat him up like he did pernel...
FLoyd is a great fighter, but i think he benefits from opponent selection and timing his fights,,,,
if floyd fought everyone people wanted to see him fight,, there is no-way he is undefeated,,,,,
Dude didnt want to fight a shane, cotto, margs, pwills,,, those were the fights to make after the oscar win,,, and what did floyd do,,, had a fake retirement, till cotto, shane, margs were all shot,,, and pwill was up in weight,,,
but floyd has no problem fighting the ortiz, ghost, jmm,,,,, and probably add alexander and khan to the list,,,,
i give floyd props for the canelo fight, but once again, floyd needs an advantage,, so we have a catchweight,,,
Floyd is great, but his greatness is greatly overrated,,,
1st of all, if you think Oscar deserved a split decision loss, you're out of your mind. That fight was an obvious 8 rounds to 4 in favor of Floyd.
Shane didn't want to fight Floyd in 2000 so your point means nothing.
A "shot" Cotto, Zab and Augustus put it on Floyd....................but they all lost...& so would Tito, bringing up what he did to a past his prime coked up Pernell is weak.
nice try though.Comment

1. Yeah oscar got a split decision,,, was it legit, probably not, but it was a close fight,,, oscar of 97-99 would have used his jab alot more, been fresher, and would have beaten floyd...
2. You say floyd could beat anyone from 96-present,, yet you say shane didnt fight him, that means nothing,,, thats ******ed logic,,, if they did fight, shane would have probably ko'd him, instead of just hurting floyd and not being able to follow up because your a 40 yr old with no legs coming off a 16 month layoff,,, so dont say floyd beats anyone and then disregard when fighters are mentioned with the statement, "they didnt fight, means nothing"
3. well if old shot guys and a glorified club fighter can bust floyd up, not to mention what JLC was able to do, a prime tito from 99-00 would have walked floyd down and beat him up.,,,,,,
Can you really say with a straight face that shot cotto, mosley and club fighter augustus really are the same as fighting a prime trinidad,,,, that is laughable and jsut showing your biased J
If you honestly think floyd would never lose to any of those guys,,, then you should be call J the biased,,,,,Comment

1. Wrong again, 116-112 will never be considered a close fight.lol

2. Shane turned Floyd down in 1999 and 2006, Shane didn't want to see Floyd, period.
3. You keep bringing up what these other fighters were able to do to Floyd but you fail to bring up that it wasn't much at all.
4. I have an opinion just like everyone else. But you have on countless occasions let it be known of your distaste for Floyd, so you have a conflict of interest when judging him objectively. Sorry, I'm not one of these guys who points to a good fighter and automatically thinks he can beat Floyd. I look at how talented they were. I look at who they beat, and I look at what they were good at, and if Floyd could nullify it. As it stands, Floyd is the best fighter I've seen from 1996-2013 at 154-126. He's a truly gifted fighter and it would take someone greater than him to beat him.Comment

If you cant see the talent in a mosley or tito or prime oscar,, i dont know what to tell you,,, i have seen each fight other p4p elite HOF caliber fighters in their prime, So i have a knowledge of how they perform vs top level top p4p guys,,, You cant say the same for floyd,,, when did he fight another p4p great at the highest level in their prime,,, Oscar, shane, tito did it numerous times,, and floyd not so much,,, those are facts,, not trying to discredit floyd but kinda absurd to think he beats everyone from 126-154 over 15 year period, when you fail to consider he has yet to ever beat another p4p guy in his prime,,, I know you will probably fall back on Corrales was p4p, but that is a joke,,, if you were gonna name the top 30 boxers from the last 15 years, corrales wouldnt be on it,,, he never deserved to be on the p4p list, much like how ggg doesnt deserve to be on it now,,,,1. Wrong again, 116-112 will never be considered a close fight. alot of people thought it was a close fight, the judges did and had it a split decision,, It was way more competitive a fight than floyd vs hatton, corrales, gatti, ortiz, ghost, shane,
2. Shane turned Floyd down in 1999 and 2006, Shane didn't want to see Floyd, period. Thats not the point, the point is who would floyd lose to between 96 and today,, Shane 99-00 would be on that list,,, Why would he fight floyd that brought zero$$$ and not fight de la hoya, lets be real, shane has fought everyone, not some much for floyd
3. You keep bringing up what these other fighters were able to do to Floyd but you fail to bring up that it wasn't much at all. i didnt fail to mention that,, of course floyd won,, but lets be real again,, lesser fighters than a prime tito did land on floyd and bloodied him and stunned him,, What would floyd use to get tito off of him,, tito walks him down beats him up,, end of story
Facts are floyd is a truely gifted fighter, but has yet to test himself at the highest level, like every other elite fighter has done in the past,,,
shane had oscar twice, forestt twice, winky twice,
oscar had pernell, genaro, ike, tito, shane twice, vargas, hopkins, manny, and floyd
tito had oscar, vargas, hopkins, winky
floyd has corrales, hatton at 147, JLC,, but none were elite p4p fighters, JLC probably was, but def not corrales and hatton,,, good action fighters but lets not confuse action with skills,,,
im only critical of floyd because people like yourself claim he is the greatest thing since SRL,,, yet how do you know that,,, dude has never tested himself consistently,,, so the jury is out,,,,
I would and have defended floyd will people start threads that say he is a bum or a hype job,,, or he is just like joe calzaghe,, I defend floyd alot on those threads,,,
but wont defend him when people say he is the GOAT or top 10 ATG or he has fought the toughest opponents available,,, that is just nonsense....
So i can defend floyd and be critical,,, all you do J the bias is defend,,,Comment

Havent you figured Manny only agrees when its all to late , just like the Bradley rematch , when Tim wanted it Manny said no , when Manny wants and Tim said no then somehow in pacville that justifies picking a loser in Rios , which what Arum wanted in the first place , Bob plays you kids like a fiddle .well you should be talking about later because floyd was exposed when manny agreed to all his demands and floyd still wouldn't fight. we found out it was never about the testing, but you want to ignore all the evidence and just have tunnel vision. lets hope you are never selected for jury duty.Comment

What level did Manny test himself at that is above Floyd ?If you cant see the talent in a mosley or tito or prime oscar,, i dont know what to tell you,,, i have seen each fight other p4p elite HOF caliber fighters in their prime, So i have a knowledge of how they perform vs top level top p4p guys,,, You cant say the same for floyd,,, when did he fight another p4p great at the highest level in their prime,,, Oscar, shane, tito did it numerous times,, and floyd not so much,,, those are facts,, not trying to discredit floyd but kinda absurd to think he beats everyone from 126-154 over 15 year period, when you fail to consider he has yet to ever beat another p4p guy in his prime,,, I know you will probably fall back on Corrales was p4p, but that is a joke,,, if you were gonna name the top 30 boxers from the last 15 years, corrales wouldnt be on it,,, he never deserved to be on the p4p list, much like how ggg doesnt deserve to be on it now,,,,

I can see that dont know anything about manny or at least have only been watching boxing for like 5 years,,,
to answer your question,,, manny fighting prime MAB, Morales, and JMM multiple times, blows away anything on floyd's resumes,,,,,, and manny fought them all in the span of 16 months,,, the only thing floyd does for 16 months is have fake retirements,,
does that clear it up,,, did you watch boxing when MAB, EM were running it and manny came thru and cleaned it out at feather and superfeather,,, and he was already a 2 division champ before any of that ,,,,Comment

When was MAB, JMM, or Morales ever on Floyd's level, when were any of them ever perceived to be better fighters than Mayweather? I'll wait.....I can see that dont know anything about manny or at least have only been watching boxing for like 5 years,,,

Nice I love a point of view backed by data and researchWhen Floyd beats Canelo these idiots are just going to say that he shoulda fought Matthyse. And when he beats Matthyse they're gonna say that he should of fought Manny when they never really believed Manny would even win the fight. The fact of the matter is that the reason people are so critical of Floyd is because he and some of his fans deem him the greatest of all time. When you make statements like that, and you're not a likable guy, there is virtually nothing you can do that will make you great in their eyes. Blinded by hate. If LeBron was to go on and win 10 championships in a row, people still would not rank him higher than Michael. Just for the simple fact that they hate the guy and that his fans and media say he's the greatest. I guarantee if Floyd was quiet and humble, you would not hear one complaint about his resume, because there is virtually nothing wrong with the mans resume, but hate is something that you can not avoid. Floyd is the only guy who can go night in night out fighting elite champions and top 10 p4p fighters and be labeled a cherry picker. Floyd is the only guy who gets ducked and then labeled a ducker. Floyd is the only guy who can out box and out class his opponents every fight and his detractors will blast him for not getting a knock out. But Floyd created this scenario by being the best in the world and not being shy about saying it. You point me 1 fighter from 154 on down that Floyd wouldn't beat at anytime between 1996-2013 and i'll show you a liar.
