Offered by who? Cotto dont even remember this, considering Cotto himself stated he never attempted to make a fight with Floyd at that time

He made a big mistake. Canelo ends hype-job
Sooooo him calling out mosly, cotto and dlh when he was on the come up was carefully selecting opponents even though all of them ducked him when he was destroying people?

Still should have fought Pacquiao, though.
Guerrero was his mandatory why would you have a problem with that? Marquez was a good opponent, pac had so much trouble against him and then he was finally knocked out! Mayweather made him look like a scub when they fought the same would have happened to pac!

yes, he retired after the oscar fight,,,

then cameback after hatton called him out after the JLC win,

and then floyd retired after beating hatton......

So that is 2 retirements, or fake "retirements" as i like to say because they most def not were for real like lennox lewis or even george foremen from the 70s, at least he was retired for a decade,,,, Doesnt bother me when a guy retires and comes back,,,, but dont fake retirement till big payday fights with little risk are involved, while ignoring major fights that could have been made

Considering he fought Hatton the same year he fought Oscar, only a few months later...are you actually going to call that a retirement?? And that somehow is going to count against Floyd? Really, are you that petty a boxing fan to even bother mentioning this?

they can never answer that, floyd called out hatton and cotto both said no!!!!

floyd called out mosley and odlh when they were younger both said no!!!!!

floyd agreed to all manny demands and only had one manny said no!

the only guy they have a point with is margarito until we find out he's a bricklayer.

jmm was a bad fight imo and guerrero was just a tune up like bringer said i hated those two fights.

other than that he's had legit comp since he came out of retirement.

And if you notice none of them are criticized for ducking Mayweather, on boxingscene its okay for fighters to turn down a Mayweather fight but its not okay for Mayweather to turn down any fight.

If anyone thinks that jmm is a legit opponent for floyd you must be completely ignorant on the sweet science,,,

                    1. Did anyone really think jmm had a chance vs floyd,,, really i want to know,, did you think jmm was going to outbox floyd or ko him

                    2. jmm is a great fighter but he is a counter puncher that excels vs aggressive come forward fighters like diaz, manny, katsidis,, and jmm doesnt excel vs actual boxers like chris john, mab, casamoyer....

                    3. Did you really think floyd would lose to a guy that is older, smaller, slower handspeed, slower footspeed, shorter, weaker, shaky defense, and counterpuncher,,, do you really think that guy is going to outbox and outcounter floyd joy mayweather jr

                    4. you have to be a complete idiot to think jmm stood a chance in that fight,, but the funny thing is that people actually brag about the jmm and compare it to manny's fights with jmm, ignoring the fact that jmm and manny are about the same size, and floyd is bigger than both,, and that floyd is a slick boxer, whereas manny is an aggressive puncher, tailor-made for jmm counters, thats why they have great fights together,,

                    5. if you cant understand that, then you should just log off and pick up a new sport

Yes Manny walked. But still, Floyd doesn't get a W on his record because of it.
