The catchweight is because there is a significant weight difference, like a possible 20 lb difference on fight night. Or are you telling me that you are perfectly fine with Floyd fighting at a huge weight disadvantages?

Thats not the question,,, dont jump in if you cant even ascertain what is being talked about,,,

Who said MAB, morales, jmm was better than floyd,,, please quote the idiot who said that,,,

the question was what had manny done thats so much better than floyd...

simple answer is he cleared out a ATG loaded featherweight division in the span of 16 months,,,,, that trumps anything on floyd's resume,,, never cleared out any division but 130 and even then didnt fight the casamoyer or freitas that was champs there.. and a prime MAB, JMM, EM are way better on a resume then corrales, jlc, hatton

      Do you understand now

Isnt that the same thing manny did,, but yet floyd huggers, crucified manny, up and till floyd did it,,,

I wouldnt care if it was a catchweight between two fighters and one has never fought at that high of a weight before,, like if floyd fought ggg at 156 or 158,,, something along those lines...

but when your a two time champ of a weight division, and have fought other champs at the weightclass with no CW,, but then ask for won against a guy that is considered a threat,,, it looks kinda like a scared tactic and is kinda weak considering your in a unification fight, and that you hold 2 belts there,

Casa and Freitas both loss to Corrales and Castillo who Floyd beat, right? .......now you say MAB, JMM, EM or better on the resume than Corrales, JLC, and Hatton, but I reckon Corrales, JLC, and Hatton would beat the **** out of MAB, JMM, and Morales any day of the week...so this better than thing you on is really just YOUR OPINION isnt it??

Maybe that would make sense if Alvarez wasn't a super middleweight pretending to be a junior middleweight. Since Alvarez has shown himself to be a fighter who targets smaller fighters moving up I completely agree with Floyd to drain his azz!! If Saul dont like it then couldn't he just fight guys his own size? Oh but that would mean giving up the advantage he likes to have over welterweights wouldn't it?

My question is how is fighting nothing but current champions considered safety first? How can Floyd be said to not face tough challenges when all he does is fight champion after champion?

Basically what I'm reading is that as far as this forum is concerned De La Hoya, Hatton, Marquez, Mosley, Ortiz, Cotto, Guerrero, Alvarez (all current champions at the time) aren't tough challenges? Those are all easy fights, right?
                very simple.

who wanted to see mayweather fight ortiz over pacman? nobody.

who wanted to see mayweather fight cotto over pacman? nobody.

who wanted to see mayweather fight guerrero over pacman? nobody.

you see where im going with this?

Remind me did Pacquiao ever fight Floyd? If not then I guess nobody wanted to see Pac's last 5 fights either, meaningless just like Ortiz, Cotto, and Guerrero right?
