Lets hope Floyd saves face and backs off his demand for Canelo to come down. If they fight at 154, both get a ton of respect but Floyd should have just kept his mouth shut about the weight demand cause that came back to bite him in the ass. But I think there should be a same day weight that does not exceed 162 stipulation by Floyd.

I wouldnt say its insane what they're asking seeing as mayweather is a champ in that weight class. What kills me is that they are demanding it on him or calling him scared, but you dont see that with other fighters. Where was the cryin at when pac beat de la hoya at 147, came in at 148 but wanted to fight cotto for a title at 145? Where was the oh Pac is scared comments? Pac has imposed CWs on 2 fighters, both times when moving up. That's after having collected 6 divisional belts with no CWs, a record. He wasn't sure he could handle ww or sww, not hard to understand. After a single fight he found he could handle welter, but not sww and gave up the belt on the spot. Unlike Floyd who loves to crow about his 2x belt and #1 ranking at 154, but when it's time to fight a threat, he's off to his 4th weightclass

Floyd Mayweather is the highest paid athlete and the biggest draw in boxing. Alvarez is an unproven fighter whose drawing power is still in question. Who is he to make demands in this situation? I've said it before, Floyd doesn't need Alvarez to define his career. Despite what the people on this site think. Floyd can pick anyone to fight at this point and make his $30 mil. You don't have to run from anyone when you have loaded gloves. I 5'10, weigh 230 pounds and haven't been in fight since I was 12 years old. However, if you gave me loaded gloves, I could beat the sh.t out of both Klitschko brothers in the same night.
