Fact is, if you follow boxing and you know what Floyd has said and done in the past, this isn't that hard to believe. Floyd has skipped out on far too many fights and all the Maynerds chat the usual ****, "He would have beat them anyway" as if that makes any sort of sense.

Everyone is losing their patience with Floyd, the Guerrero fight got lots of critical stick and it wasn't a huge financial hit either. Floyd knows he needs a legit name in at least one of his next two fights. I maintain Alexander/Khan will be his next opponent but Canelo will be down the line because Floyd will have nowhere else to go.
I don't need to see Ali/Klitchsko to know that Muhammed would of boxed his head off. Get the picture?

Floyd should have demanded for a rehydration clause instead of a catch-weight. But at the same time, people would still complain that Canelo was weight drained on fight night, ect. If Floyd is planning on defending his WBA belt for this fight, then he deserves to be criticize for the catch-weight. If the WBA super welterweight belt isn't on the line, then It won't make any difference because Canelo will still be the bigger guy on fight night at 170 lbs.

Canelo thought he could. All the pampering got to his head and he thinks he's a super star.

The only thing i like about the catchweight is that Canelo got put in his place when it comes to leverage.

Otherwise, its very irritating. At the very least it shouldnt be a title fight.

I think Floyds ego is to blame. Again.

                      facts

At age 22 , 2 pounds is NOT a lot of weight to shed.

Canelo has said they will both be comfortable.

Canelo will still have a huge 12lb+ advantage .

If Canelo has stamina issues , he had them previously so STFU.

This is NOT the same as Cotto vs Manny, Cotto came in at 145 and 148 on fight night which is a 3LB difference.
