Canelo wasn't Money mandatory until this past Saturday. How can he duck him, he's not obligated to fight him. The only person a champion is obligated to fight is their mandatories....all other fights are optional and at the fighters discretions.

Money is fighting his mandatory (WBC 147) in his own weight-class, tell Canelo to do the same...El Oro de Guantanamo is waiting (WBC 154) and that mandatory is older than this past Saturday.

Yeah but Canelo would drop that belt in a heartbeat to fight Floyd It's all about the $$$$$. And I doubt the WBC will enforce anything as they will make more $$$$$ out of a Floyd fight.

While it not going to happen so he should keep the belt and fight fighters in his own divisions. He would actually be dropping two belts (WBA regular and WBC)...do you really think he would do that.

Any half assed Mexican fighter can sell out a stadium with cheap ticket prices in a city that is Majority Mexican. @22 Floyd was already p4p one of the best and a champion and not from beating welter weights in a vacant title match like Canelo did.. Talent, skills and natural ability adds up in boxing and that's why Floyd appeals to the whole world of boxing whether people like him or not! Do you think Canelo will ever appeal to all of the United States, the UK, south Africa, Canada, parts of Asia and parts of Latin America the way Floyd does?? I doubt it! Having Mexico's support will only get him so far if he's not appealing to the rest of the world. The red hair and freckles isn't gonna fool everyone!

It does take two to tango for something like 2.4 million......Oscar nor Floyd have ever come close to that number aside from that fight. So Shane Mosley and Felix Trinidad weren't big stars for Oscar to fight???

There's a very real argument that in the PPV world that Floyd is bigger than Oscar.

ODH fought floyd because floyd was the best fighter in the world and ODH thought he could make huge money and beat him (because he would outweigh him). He didn't just give some scrub a chance. It wasnt rocky/creed it was Chavez/Sweat pea.

Think about it like this. ODH/Forbes, return tune up for ODH, was on free TV. Floyd/Ghost, return tune up for floyd, is on PPV.

He didn't sell out venues or events because he wasn't hyped up at all! Like I said any Mexicans can sell out an aren/stadium in a city that is majority Mexican.. Mexicans have the biggest fan base in boxing so of course they support their own and sell out stadiums with cheap ticket prices.. Blacks on the other hand don't have as much support in boxing because most are supporting athletes in more main stream sports such as basketball and football.. I'd rather be 22 with all the style & skills to eventually be the best boxer in the world (Floyd) Then to be a hyped up 22 year old who gets tired after 6 rounds who won his 1st title in a vacant match up against a welter weight.. A man thats 42-0 just coming off of my first fight with someone thats in the top ten in my division and really only hyped because of my nationality. (canelo)

Who's Mega fights/undercards was Canelo on??? That's right Floyd Mayweather! Floyd came up the hard way.. No one knew who Canelo was until he fought on Floyd's undercard when floyd fought Mosley.. Two or three undercards later and Canelo is trying to give demands to the fighter that pretty much made him famous.lol

Imagine if it were Floyd giving demands like that at 22? Everyone would be killing Floyd.
