skill and accomplishments have a lot to do with it because Canelo doesn't have half the skills or accomplishments as a boxer that Floyd had at 22, yet he's selling out arenas.. Canelo became well known when he started fighting on Floyd's undercards.. Floyd didn't have a mega star to piggy back off of like Canelo did.. Golden Boy promotions/ Al Haymon wasn't around and Arum and Top Rank shows more support for Latino fighters.. Now imagine if Floyd was Mexican @22.. He would have the main fan base in boxing(mexicans) supporting him plus the promoters would support him and add the style & skills that Floyd has.. He would have been selling out every where because mexicans support their own and every casual and hardcore boxing fan in the world loves a fighter with a good skill set, though some will lead you to believe that brawlers are preferred.. Canelo doesn't brawl like your typical Mexican fighter does and Mexican fans love it.. Floyd's been beating fighters with his skill set for years and they hate him for it..

Skills and accomplishmnets dont really have alot to do with numbers. I mean just look at rigondeaux one of my favorite active fighters. Arum nust ****ed him last time and said he will have a hard time selling his fights yet the dude deserves to be on the top 5 p4p. I think one of the reason people have been hating floy is because of the fights he takes not his skills hes a great fighters one of my favorites all time.

canelo's 34.000, $10 dollar fanbase has nothing on mayweathers $34 million dollar high rollers fanbase. big bank take little bank. at some point he'll understand that you can draw as many as fans that you can to a fight.but if the ticket price is from sesame street.you need to go sit down somwhere.

Remember when the Super/Sugar fight was cancelled due to Super injuring his arm after he fell through a shower door. Well, Rafael reported that Super lied about the incident and that he injured his arm after punching through a shower door after getting into an argument with his father. Now I thought that story was fishy to begin with, I became more su****ious once I found out Rafael's proof was multiple "unamed sources" who didn't want to be quoted. How convenient.

Super and his father Yoel called him out on that...BIG TIME. He stated backpedalling from his unnamed sources line.

No its 100% about race...pure and simple. Canelo doesn't sell for his style....he sells because he's been carefully manufactured as a star fighting easy show fights until Trout. The fact he's an irish looking mexican is also a big selling point. Floyd and Pac the two biggest stars right now, worked their way up by taking on tough challenges early and beating them. They weren't handed ****....has nothing to do with styles, if it did Floyd still wouldn't be selling. You can't say don't bring race into something that is 100% race oriented....
