    • He is right. Look at last weekend, nearly 40K fans, and most were his in that arena. Why would he need Floydie to make millions? Floydie will be all pompous and keep ducking Canelo forever.

      • I laugh reading how all you fools believe that by selling expensive tickets, ppvs and how much money was profited is an indicative of someone's popularity. Floyd is watched because the marketing geniuses have sold him like in wrestling, the bad guy that is undefeated. I tell ya, the minute he loses, its goodbye. Also, canelo has much more fans. Add to the amount of people watching him in the US, the at least 80 million watching in mexico and in latin america. Floyd? hahahahaha

After stating his reason why he pulled himself out from Mayweather-Guererro under card, I didn't hear him mentioning anything about floyd joy anymore. He has staged his own show and has proved himself a real deal. Ask the almost '40,000' fans who had watched the fight they paid for.

May ask you now, are the 16,800 seats sold already?

              1) Does Floyd for money and not belts (his own words)....YES.
              2) Would Canelo bring more money to the table versus anyone else? YEP.
              3) What challenges does Mayweather have at 147? Limited.

So I ask again. Why shouldn't Floyd take the fight?

Floyd will not fight a guy who walks 172... It's insane...
The same: Canelo will not fight Ward, who walks over 182 lbs.
And Canelo cannot fight Martinez as well -- Sergio is too good to date...
Triple G would better fit Canelo...
name the dates when canelo won belts at 160&168.

                • One thing's for sure, Cinco de Mayo weekend will be known more as a boxing holiday than the celebration of the Battle of Puebla.
