It can only be clear that he doesn't make the cut if we can be told the names of the HW fighters who actually makes this cut.

Hahaha It's absolutely incredible isn't it. In real life world there is wide agreeance on what should be regarded as obvious facts! But here in forum land there is no such thing as common sense! There is far too much tolerance for the nutbag in the boxing community!

Vitali, like his brother, are 100% guaranteed to make the HOF and be ATG's no matter what contrary opinion is offered here. It's as sure a bet as secretariat.

You can watch old heroes of the past get smashed, and I DO MEAN SMASHED! from pillar to post in all of their fights and be regarded ATG and HOF and yet Vitali dominates every opponent, That is EVERY OPPONENT BAR 1! And the only one he didn't dominate he was still beating before unfortunately stopped. Yet does not rate as an ATG or make the HOF?

          Crazy! Pure crazy!

When I think of the ATG heavyweights I think of guys that either took the world by storm, dominated as lineal/undisputed champ or had some epic fights that you can point to and say 'yeah he really proved his worth when he beat that guy' … you know I think of guys like the below …

            Jack Johnson
            Jack Dempsey
            Joe Louis
            Rocky Marciano
            Muhammad Ali
            Joe Frazier
            George Foreman
            Larry Holmes
            Mike Tyson
            Evander Holyfield
            Lennox Lewis etc….

(Wlad is almost there too btw but he hasn’t finished his career yet so hard to know where he will stand but I think if he keeps going the way he is he will get there … but Vits is nowhere near, his fans can twist facts and say ‘he would have done this … he could have beaten such and such but the fact is he didn’t)

Oh really and what exactly was the signature fights of Foreman, Holmes or Tyson where they proved their worth any more than Vitali?

What quality opponent did Marciano ever beat who was not a pensioner?

Walcott and Charles were interim champs.

Jack Dempsey's entire career was all smoke and mirrors, he side stepped all the time!

Vitali's legacy is simply he beat every opponent in front of him in a qualitatively different fashion than any single one of the fighters on that list. He absolutely dominated them. Their talents and skills and physical gifts were worth absolutely nothing against Vitali. He never loses a round, he never loses a fight, he never off his feet and he smashed his opponents to bits as if they were nothing! THAT is an ATG!

Most of the fighters on that list are not fit to carry Vitali's jock strap! And that's a FACT! lol

Tyson- Never once beat a great opponent either like Vitali, struggled with good opponents and lost to bums and tomato cans! Unlike Vitali! Prime career when he was unstoppable, despite struggling with Ruddock and getting KO'd by Douglas, knocked out what 20 bums before ever facing a titlist opponent lol.

Holmes- Best win was in the 90's! After that many fights I'm not surprised he's a great boxer with such experience! Before that he faced some good opponents, Smith, Witherspoon, Cooney, Ali (shot) but the only time he faced a truly great opponent who was a live body (Tyson) he got knocked out!

Foreman- Whilst I love the guy and rate him highly, he beat not a single great opponent, not 1!

Marciano- Never participated in a real HW fight! The calibre of his opposition was SOOO bad he need not be mentioned again. Bums and pensioners and sub200 is the word. No wonder he went 49-0!

                I could go on!

                  hahhaha.

Eh?? What about Foreman knocking out the guy that beat Muhammad Ali in 2 rounds? Absolutely destroyed Joe Frazier. Or how about Mike Tyson destroying 2 world champions in one and two rounds respectively, as well as taking the world by absolute storm, whilst possibly becoming the most feared boxer in the history of the division, or at least top 3.

Larry Holmes was a little slower , but he had some epic fights with Shavers, Norton, Cooney, Mercer etc in a career that stretched over 4 decades.

Lol at your uneducated dig on these guys. And please..

PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD! - Don't mention weight or size-
