    JMM and Hatton?

Well he tooled both. Would you say he is going after LW's again if he rematched JMM?? Or would it be JMM is going to KO Floyd this time???
lol,i would not call Hatton smaller at all...he was shorter by a tad,but far from smaller

The way you say "All other LMWs", seems like there actually a bunch of 154 pounders people rather see Floyd against. IMO there's only two fighters there that would be sellable as good fights for Floyd, Canelo and Trout.

      He already beat Cotto.

Lara and Vanes just came off a draw to eachother. Kirkland, Bundrage, really?

      Mayweather vs Molina, crickets.

Angulo? Good fight for any one else at 154 except Floyd.

Now, who are these JMWs that Floyd is cherrypicking poor little Canelo over?

      Sergio at 154.

Canelo is sellable, doesn't mean its not a cherry pick.

Quick question: What's Canelo's best win over a legit 154lber?

Not really what i meant is it???

According to certain posters on here JLC was the best LW since Whitaker, but FMJ is an overrated cherry picker. See any flaws in that logic?

Floyd still gets crap for his unimpressive competition at 140-147 from 2005/2006. But his resume prior is impressive and his resume after (since his return in 2009) is equally impressive. I'd say Manny Pacquiao has been as much and an even bigger cherry picker at certain points in his own career. As was Oscar De La Hoya...and nearly every other PPV star.

Canelo beat then #4 ranked Ryan Rhodes.

I have no problem with someone being critical, but mostly ppl are just being hypocritical and applying a set of standards they don't bother with when discussing Floyd's main rival for the era in MP. There isn't a poster on here who thought MP was better than FMJ until he moved up and beat ODLH, Hatton and Cotto, whilst conveniently ignoring the fact that Floyd beat better versions of ODLH and Hatton earlier, and a poorer version of Cotto later, albeit at a weight that suited Cotto.

It's also a joke to call Floyd a fraud and simultaneously assert JLC is the greatest LW since whitaker. That's just constipated logic when you consider Floyd's very first fight at 135 was JLC and he rematched immediately after the controversy.
