but now he's a cherry pick for dela. even though he kinda spanked dela (IMO) in their first fight.
    Persecute?

I wasn't the only one persecuting Oscar when that fight was made. Maybe you forgot--or maybe you weren't on message boards then or maybe you just bought into the hype. But no one thought that was a huge risk; an impressive fight, or anything of the sort PRIOR.

    EDIT

And LOL @ Shane had the balls to step to Vernon. What's all this hindsight?? Shane was a heavy favorite over Forrest too. Now it was a big risk? Why? Because of what happened in the amateurs??? WTF? Would Kostya Tszyu have been a huge risk for Forrest as a pro? He beat him up in the amateurs, right?

If Floyd had consistently fought twice a year since 2009, he could've possibly cleaned out 147/154 and be looked at as undoubtedly THE best of this generation with an impenetrable resume.
but noone minded when pac fought margo at a CW for a vacant WBC title and then never even looked like he was ever going to defend it ??

      some double standards right thurr

They did mind it. That's when this site began to fully turn on Pacquiao. There were threads made every day about what a punk catchweight king coward Pacquiao was and how fake his title was. People need to stop pretending that NSB loved that fight and didn't care about the catchweight and title being on the line. You don't have to make stuff up to hate on Pacquiao, he did plenty of real things to hate on.

legit fans were pissed at the CW and that combined margs and pac were 1-1-1 at JMW.

Thread Starter is right on the money. Everyone wants Floyd to fight bigger guys because they are hoping (in their deranged minds) that some how a punch from the heavens will come down and KO Floyd.
It is an attestment to his great skill. Which is why everyone wants him to fight Sergio whom I believe he will fight next year.
