    Mayweather Standards?

I normally don't post anything but, I can't help but to keep seeing people saying if Floyd fight Guerrero it's hbo worthy it's a garbage fight etc. Let's be honest as good as Martinez and Canelo are we only want to see those fights and give them a chance because they both have power and are much bigger. If they fought at 147 we wouldn't want to see the fight or give them a change. Why the double standards? and who should he fight?

theirs is a guy at 147 who mayweather ducked for ever. I forget his name

Mayweather in the twilight zone a fighters needs to have the auoura that he can actually beat mayweather, Like pacquaio used to have, like after ortiz fought berto, people where like hell maybe this guy can do it. Its not that people want to see mayweather lose they just want to see a great fight. A guy no one thinks can beat him aint gonna hype no one up, and people are of course gonna down it.

I can see that good point. Still double standard. I guess people understand he is a atg so they want to believe someone has a chance even though when people bet the odds say otherwise.

its still pretty much the same thing because there would be no other fighter from 130-147 that you wouldnt think Ghost had a chance against or that you wouldnt think was a good fight. Its just Floyd. Thats not fair. Just because someone's better than everyone else doesnt mean that he should have to automatically fight guys in a 6th or 7th division where most think he hasnt even looked good in anyways.

At that point it is more about seeing him lose or coming close to losing. Dont penalyze a guy for being better than the others. Thats not even including the fact that he takes off way more time than anyone in the sport of boxing and is coming off a jail term. Hell, Rigo's team just said they dont wanna fight Donaire now because he's been off for 6 months. Floyd does double & triple that routinely and still has to dominate or he gets ripped

Its complimentary to the guy that no one thinks anyone but the legitimate MW champ or guys in higher weight classes could possibly beat him but thats the pitfall of being the best.

People arent penalizing him but they also dont want to pay PPV money for what appears to be a farce of a fight that seems more suitable on HBO BAD.

Know what's really sad? For as much as you try to cover it up, you still come across as an hater. It's really sad it's so strong you can't hide it. It's also ****ing funny.

Of course we want to see Floyd fight someone bigger. He's going after lightweights.

Mayweather put himself in that position by moving up to 154. Had he stayed @147, there wouldn't be a big demand for Mayweather vs. Canelo/Martinez. Also, Floyd's inactivity increases my desire to see him the very BEST opposition available. If Floyd had consistently fought twice a year since 2009, he could've possibly cleaned out 147/154 and be looked at as undoubtedly THE best of this generation with an impenetrable resume.

what double standards, he holds titles at 154 and claims to fight people at their best.

canelo is waiting for him at 154, and so is martinez who said he would make weight comfortably. guerrero is not a ppv card.
