Cotto lost to Mosley and Clottey IMO. The Cotto-Margarito rematch was shifting towards Margarito at the time of the stoppage too.
Cotto has always been overrated

just because he lost last night does not mean he is over rated. he has always been a very good fighter in my opinion.Comment

He's fought and beat a lot of stiff competition, won straps at 3 different weight levels, fought the 2 p4p kings of his era, and is still only 32.
And if anyone was getting KO'd in the Marag rematch it was definitely Antonio, to see it any other way is blinkered.Comment

You can't defend getting KTFO 3 times that is why you can't make excuses. Cotto MAY have been overrated (I don't believe that) but Hatton was certainly nothing more than a hypejob.Comment

What is this crap? Guy loses a competitive fight and all of a sudden he's crap? He lost to a champion, one who I grossly underestimated. Trout is a good fighter verging on elite, who beat a past it Cotto, in a very competitive 12 rounds.
Say what you want but Cotto was one of the best at 140-147 over the past decade, has 2 lopsided losses to ATGs and a beating against a cheater. He is a 3 weight champion who has ko'd some very good fighters. he takes the toughest fights and has never let me down on a major PPV. Cotto is a very very good fighter and has been elite for over half a decade. How can you diss that?Comment

cotto is overrated and every time he steped up he lost or won a fight that could have gone ethier way. cotto has stamina issues and has had that problem since day one and if you cant go 12rds with out gasing out then you have no buisness being a boxer. he should retireComment
