Cotto shouldn't go back to 147. That would be terrible for his body at this stage in his career. He is 32, his muscles would not be able to take the strain of getting down to 147 while he has been used to being at 154 or more for almost 2 years.

Cotto isn't going to beat the elite 154 pounders. But if he stays at the weight then he should focus on fighting someone like K9.

Just about everything that I have been accused of being a hater of has been posted by Cotto stans on what's wrong. I'm such a hater for seeing this a looooong time ago. People need to take them goggles off. Can't wait for the Flomos to be next.

i must have been lost for the last couple months because i don't remember a bunch of people thinking cotto was going to run thru trout.as far as the fight i actually thought it was very close and if anything i was not as impressed as i thought i was going to be with trout, trout himself said that the rounds were close

Cotto is a future hall-of-famer, and one of the great fighters of this era. Gaye, Fatton, Slappy Joe don't have anything on him.

What fighters do you have as B graders? Because for me B grade contains the likes of Shane Mosley, De La Hoya, Trinidad etc.

I'd rate Cotto as a C grade fighter or maybe B minus.

Mosley did it..Cotto is not a big JMW he is going to continue to lose to the top of the JMW class...It's his best move, move down fight a solid C level kinda fighter to get use to the weight again..Then jump right into the mix,Cotto can beat a lot of fighters fighting at 147lb right now...At 154lb he'll lose most of his fights to top comp...

Not too long ago, almost everybody was giving Cotto all the props for fighting the best. Now a lot are saying he is a class B fighter, overhyped, bum, etc etc.

Indeed, a winner has many parents and a loser is an orphan.

Yall make it sound like Cotto should be serving drinks at the HOF ceremony rather than being honored as he should and probably will.
                      LOL.

Trinidad to many people earned the first legitimate win over Pernell Whitaker. He was the first to have a recorded win over DLH. Yes i thought he won, i had it 5-2-1 for DLH after 8 rounds, and he than he took the last four rounds off thinking he had it in the bank.

Trinidad defended his IBF title, like 17 times, and was also the first to beat Yuri Boy Campos, in which many thought he would lose to the Mexican who was like 53-0. He also gave Vargas his first loss, this is a guy who had wins over Ike Quartey and Winky Wright.

The first Trinidad loss was to one of the greatest middleweights of all time. A guy who defended his title 20 times. BTW, i am not a big fan Trinidad fan also.

Trinidad vs Cotto Resume? Trinidad wins hands down.

Camacho vs. Cotto? Camacho's career runs circles around Cotto. He won titles in three divisions, and none for a vacant title as Cotto did twice. He was champion in seven divisions if you include minor titles.

In 90 odd fights Camacho was never knocked out, Never. I don't care what people say about him getting on his bike, the guy got on the ring with guys like Limon, Rosario, Chavez, Trinidad, De La Hoya, Mancini, Ramirez, and Haugen it is an accomplishment. He beat five of those guys. He was undefeated to many people until he loss to Chavez, as his first loss to Haugen was due mainly on a bogus point deduction.

He also was the first to KO Sugar Ray Leonard. People say he beat an old SRL and Duran. But Camacho was no spring chicken either. The guy was in the ring for 16 or 17 years when he beat those guys. Also SRL made excuses that due to an injury he would have beat him.

Camacho beat more hall of famers than Cotto. His hand speed makes Cotto speed look like a joke in comparison. At super feathweight Camacho's speed perhaps could only be rivaled by Mayweather in recent times. He was more durable than Cotto. He had a longer career than Cotto. Fought in more weight divisions. CAMACHO's accomplishments run circles around Cotto.
