The fact that Pacquiao went through 8 divisions is sick to even think about. Not only that, but he demolished the biggest names in the sport along the way. He has become the most famous boxer in the world, only behind Ali and i would say on par with Mayweather and De La Hoya, and he is a little filipino guy that can hardly speak english, not much more needs to be said.

Well the reason for that is we can say for easiness boxing as we know it began in 1912.

That's 100 years, if you consider modern to be in the last 10 years then that's a 9:1 ratio of years.

That in turn means there is going to be about 1/10th of the greats coming out of this modern era.
