Calzaghe himself was 36 and after losing he beat Pavlik and became a LHW champion.

Do you think Calzaghe is Benjamin Button? Waiting for Hopkins to age where as Calzaghe doesn't.

Unless Calzaghe's backyard is in America, then you're wrong.

Hopkins refused because of the money anyway, which was his biggest purse.

Have you ever noticed that the people who hate Calzaghe are often the same people who hate the Klitschkos.

        I wonder why?

He openly admitted to ducking Prime Roy. "Don't worry son he isn't that good anymore"

Joe had many fights outside of his home country of Wales.

How many fights has Floyd Mayweather had outside the USA?

How many fights has Audrey Ward had outside the USA?

Why has B-Hop never gone overseas?

I hate it when people use lazy research to try and undermine Calzaghe's career. If you actually knew the history, Calzaghe said many other times that he would fight Jones under the right circumstances, people use a few quotes without knowing the circumstances.

There were lots of barriers, and yes one of them was finding a neutral venue. Others included the weight, as Roy was a LHW, I am sure money would have been an issue also. Jones himself has also openly admitted that Calzaghe was not worth the risk, so it works both ways. I don't think either one of them wanted to go out of their way to make the fight happen, as they were both winning and successful, this does not mean that Calzaghe did not want more competitive fights.

I hate it when idiots like this use little snippets of information to make an idiotic point. IDIOT.

Man at the end of the day his skills and resume are under whelming stop hyping this guy up as if he was some once in a life time boxing virtuoso. Please cut the shyt already. He was an average to serviceable fighter at best with a weak resume.

Why is NSB always trying to add to fighters legacies after they retired?
