He waited til Jones was old and shot.
ducked Dawson, Froch, and Glen Johnson

    .
if you didn't see how great he was then you are blind. punching the air while getting hit over and over takes true skill.

Thats what im saying if you read the WHOLE thing i said. i scored it for Hopkins EASILY. Calzaghe probably won like 3-5 rounds. But even if you score it 6-6 the KD is the difference. '
Im just saying his BEST WIN is a SD over hopkins and That he didn't even show any GREAT skills in the fight. So if somebodies best win is a Win that they dont even show no greatness and on top of that is a controversy. Then how can they be called a Great fighter.

throwing a lot of punches is a great skill according to some people. I didn't know it was skillful to miss punches. i thought the most important thing was landing punches. do you get points in basketball for simply throwing the ball at the hoop and completely missing? also notice how hopkins never gets any credit for having great defense but calzaghe gets credit for simply throwing and not landing? that's like in baseball getting credit for swinging and missing. good job! people don't know how to score boxing. they should probably read the rules.

Calzaghe does get a lot of stick. Some of it is well-founded, though.

Man I just heard some Puerto Rican this past weekend trying to say Camacho was the greatest ever because he beat Leonard. This guy was in diapers when Leonard was fighting his prime fights. A decade from now, some dumb kids will probably think that Jones and Hopkins were in their primes in 2008.

The ironic thing is a 147lb Hatton is as good as the Viets, Salems etc in this world.

You don't get respect for fighting duds for a decade while waiting for the best fighters around to get old before fighting them. Kessler is his best win and one of the only worthy of credit.

Also, he should have lost to Hopkins even after waiting for him to age.
