hahaha @ glen nickel and diming joe. Glen fought for peanuts his whole career. Money was NEVER an issue with Johnson/Calzaghe.

Pulling out once cuz of an injury, so no problem. Twice, three times? Don't think so. A duck is a duck.

It's creepy how people have almost a lustful hatred for the guy. If he wasn't great, no way would people dedicate so much of their time trying to tear him down.
Boxers and boxing fans I've talked to in real-life have respect for him, it's only online where I see the hate.

I don't dislike him or hate him, it's just that his resume lacks names so badly. It was a waste of talent.

Man, when I see people naming his wins, and running out of names after like 3-4 and start naming guys like Kabary Salem, Omar Sheika, Mario Veit, Byron Mitchell. It's just sad.

Imagine Floyd never fought Hatton, De La Hoya, Ortiz, Mosley, Cotto, Marquez, Judah.

I'd have to be like, "Floyd is one of the greatest fighters ever, he's a legend, he beat Corrales, Castillo, Hernandez, Chavez, Gatti, Corley, Agustus, Manfredy, Pep, Bruseles. He's the greatest, how can you not see this!?". That would be sad.

That's basically what Calzaghe fans go through. They name Hopkins, Kessler, Bika, Lacy, Eubank....then it pretty much goes downhill from there, they name past prime Jones, Manfredo Jr, and start naming all of these guys that just make Calzaghe's resume really sad to list. They should just stop after Eubank, who was not prime either, save Joe the embarrassment.
