Chad Dawson is a *****...shoulda kept that right hand up from the start. Never made that adjustment, he got rocked a few times and gave up and tried to survive. The say that at age 28 a man is at the peak of his prime. I think Ward was a prime example of that tonight, best performance of his career. Just like Floyd was at his physical peak when he shut out gatti at 28.

Gatti was shot and finished when he faced Floyd. No way to compare both fights. Ward has faced the best opposition in his division. I'm a Pacquiao fan, but above all, i'm a boxing fan. #1 P4P belongs to S.O.G. Ward.

Nobody has faced such a good opposition in such a short period of time. Yes....Andre Ward IS the #1 p4p fighter in the world. And yes, the big question now is....Who's next?

I wouldn't say he's the best P4P, he is on the cusp of super stardom though. He has a great resume, one of the best in the last five years or so, but he still isn't the best. I'll give him another year or two when Floyd and Pac retire, then he'll definitely be the best. Until those two leave the picture, he's top 5. I won't take too much away from this victory, because Ward did what he had to do, but anyone who truly knows boxing would have seen that Dawson legs weren't as strong as they normally are. Ward isn't a puncher and Dawson has been hit by harder punchers and withstood them (Diaconu, Pascal, Johnson, Tarver, etc.) All those guys are considered knockout punchers, based on their track records.
