Dawson looked drained. No jab, no punch resistance. Bad move going back to 168.

Props to Ward. He did what he had to do.

I picked Dawson to win, the weight affected his punch resistance but not the outcome, Ward is such an intelligent fighter and I think he should be p4p#1 also..... I will probably never pick against him again lol.

I picked Dawson for the win but those two left hands were the beginning of the end. No excuses chief. Dawson made some mistakes..and paid for them.

If boxing fans don't have Ward in their top P4P list now I don't know what to tell them. Ward is just that damn good. If he decides to rematch Dawson at 175 I still think he takes it. Ward is like a chessmaster when it comes to boxing. The guy is always a couple moves ahead of his opponent.

After Matthysee's fight, watching Ward-Dawson was painful. Anyways, Dawson looked awful. Didn't look like it was gonna make much of a difference if he quit or not. Dawson can't fight at this weight.

No excuses Ward beat him and fair square. As a Dawson fan, I'm bias, I not only question his ring iq, but his decision making off the ring too. He called out Ward and was willing to drop in weight and only get 600 grand? Dawson could have stayed in 175 and fight mandatories. Hopefully Dawson will bounce back from this loss, him and Scully need to go back to the drawing board.

The say that at age 28 a man is at the peak of his prime. I think Ward was a prime example of that tonight, best performance of his career. Just like Floyd was at his physical peak when he shut out gatti at 28.
