I've got Ward now at No. 1 P4P not only because of this performance but also because Pacquiao has looked like **** for his last few fights and fighting once a year like Floyd does just enough for me personally, to allow him to inherit the number 1 spot, it's simply not enough especially since Pacquiao fights at least twice a year

Ward just uses every ounce of talent he has better than anybody in the sport. Hes not as physically talented as FMJ but hes so mentally strong and determined that i put him on that level. My top 10 p4p 1.FMJ 2.Pac 3.Ward 4.JMM 5.Sergio 6.Donaire 7,8 Klitchkos 9. Bradley 10. Take your pick Cotto, Froch, Dawson, Mares theres a couple more options out there.

Haven't seen iut yet, did the weight affect Dawson?? Seems he's been hit by much bigger punchers before and responded better. Chad seems to have lost the hunger he once had.....very very sad.

It was clear that he was affected by the weight loss. He hadn't fought at 168 in years. He had no legs and that was before he was hit by Ward. He has been hit by bigger punchers and that's my argument. He took flush punches from Tarver, who is by far the biggest puncher he's faced. Ward fought a great fight, no doubt but I'm sure he knew that Dawson was weakened. But really no excuses I suppose, it was Dawson whbo wanted the fight at 168. I would still like to see it at 175 where Dawson has better punch resistance.

Ward is unbelievable. Just an amazing fighter in all aspects. He is a top P4P fighter 100%. P4P list to me is Floyd at #1 and Ward/Martinez, either could be 2nd or 3rd. I would lean towards Ward being #2 but if Martinez KOs JCC Jr. he may have a case for being #2. Pac fans can ***** all they want but Pac maybe rounds out the top five at this point. When Floyd retires, Ward will be #1 P4P for a long time.

Ward beats anyone from 160-175 I believe. I could see Martinez and Golovkin being TOUGH fights but I think he would prevail.

Statement would make a lot more sense if Ward had a half way decent KO ratio and Dawson had chin issues.

Don't understand why fighters compromise their legs, chin and stamina.....is it really worth the 600k he got? He'd have been better off making the fight at 75 and getting 300k instead as a sweetener to get Ward to move up.
