The hook was doing damage to Ward in the second round, but Dawson didn't have the energy to keep that up. Ward walked through Dawsons best shots, it was only a matter of time..

maybe i am wrong but i thought those dawson hooks were more cuffing than landing on ward, either way once dawson got hurt he should have adapted or was told to adapt, he was hurt a few times from them and his trainer did nothing to have him adjust...

Like i have been saying he would have beaten chad at any weight, he makes you quit - dawson was beaten by the 7th, did yall see him in the corner? skully couldn't believe it. Ward is the standard ! dawson was not drained at the weight it, actually looked strong - ward took his heart and fought like a 160pd bhop in his prime - the 1st 2 knock downs was from speed, the angle chad just didn't see both of them, then the last one was the impose your will bytch betta have my $ beatdown - he looks easy but when you get in there with him, he's greasy

At the end of the day Ward may have been more skilled, tougher, wanted it more, a better adjuster, and so forth and so on. But the biggest factor in the fight tonight was power. Dawson couldn't hurt Ward and Ward hurt Dawson with basically every solid punch he landed. And knowing what we know about the two fighters that just doesn't make sense.

Don't understand why fighters compromise their legs, chin and stamina.....is it really worth the 600k he got? He'd have been better off making the fight at 75 and getting 300k instead as a sweetener to get Ward to move up.

No lunatic here. I think Pacquiao is severely over rated historically. Ive argued constantly that hes had a well guided career with alot of smoke and mirrors. As a matter of fact i believe both marquez and morales were better in their prime. But if you look at his career after he became world champion hes lost 1 clear fight against erik morales. Now i believe he lost the first and third fights with Jmm and the second was a tossup. I also believe that the Bradley fight was a close fight but pac deserved the win. Im no pac fandeserved but u cant ignore the mans career. He beat the crap out of a very close to prime Barrera and destroyed Miguel Cotto . Those to me are his best fights even Cotto slightly drained. Dont worry he will fall off soon Marquez, Bradley or Floyd make him look silly again and he probably goes away.

I put Ward up there with the elite but you guys are taking it a little to far with the p4p stuff. Ward didn't move up in weight or anything, Dawson came down. Ward could of just as easily went up to 175. Then that would be saying something. Guys acting like Ward came up from 154 or something, he fighting at the same weight he always fights at middleweight, thats not p4p. Pacquiao and Floyd came from featherweight all the way up to 154 to win titles, thats p4p! Is Ward great? Yes! Is he top 3 p4p? No..
