Pacquiao has won titles in what over 8 different weight classes? There is no way in the world Ward surpasses him nor Floyd, not even Sergio... p4p is pound for pound. not 168 pound.. Now say Ward moves up to 175 and loses? Is he p4p then? Absolutely NOT! Thats why I'll wait before crowning him...

Pac has won 8 titles, but dig deeper. He never fought "Too Sharp" Johnson, who was the best flyweight of that era. He beat Ledwaba for a paper strap in what was a loaded jr featherweight division. Never fought Ayala, Adams, Vazquez, so forth and so on. David Diaz at lightweight and never fought the likes of Casamayor, Cambell, or Juan Diaz. The fact is, Ward cleaned out super middleweight, something Pac never did in any division. And he destroyed a fringe elite tonight. This is a what have you done for me lately world we live in. And recently, Ward has dominated the absolute best competition available to him. You'll find a huge segment of people that feel Pac has lost his last two fights and looked like **** the two before that. Really don't see why one would have an issue with Ward being above Pac at this point. And the only reason I would rank Mayweather over Ward is that he remained as dominent as Ward. That said, his activity level and recent level of comp can't be logical compared favorably to Ward's.

Not at all if you really wanna get fly about it that Cotto belt was given to Cotto after Margarito beat him and Bradley was the man @ 140 when Pac beat Hatton, a legit title but Hatton had been KO'd by Floyd and wasn't the man @ 140 at the time. Not to mention the David "Taxi Driver" Diaz debacle. Campbell was the legit champion @ 135 and was screaming for a Pac match so Pac should have fought Campbell, Bradley then Mosley but we all know what happen.

Still leaves what over 5 or 6 different weight classes? Face it man. Ward's not surpassing Pacquiao. Just because you might dislike Pac, doesn't mean you can diminish his accomplishments. He is p4p #2 period. You try moving up into over even 3 different weight classes and see how hard it is..Ward hasn't even tried yet...

Cause you know me huh. Maybe i fought you. after all you had more than 50 straight victories or something like that but to answer your question yes i have boxed and wrestled at a very high level and yes i have had to drop weight, 8 lbs most.

Overall Ward outclassed Dawson and no matter what weight class Dawson will get destroyed just like he did tonight.

Hatton was very much "the man" at jr welter when Pac beat him. Of Pac's titles, the only ones I call bogus were the jr feather, lightweight, and jr middleweight. Mosley was the top guy at welter when Pac beat Cotto for his little trinket. But it can always be argued that Cotto's loss to Margs was very much in question and even if it wasn't, Cotto had beaten Mosley.

Doesn't matter. Ward beat everybody in or around 168 that would fight him. This was a win over the best @ 175!!! Truth of the matter is there isn't anyone else out there for him to face.

floyd/cotto is slightly lesser than ward/dawson, IMO.... and froch/abraham is EASILY bigger wins compared to ortiz in 2011.

floyd/cotto: competitive fight against "faded" cotto @ his OWN division.
ward/dawson: domination against prime #1 LHW "drained" dawson @ 168.

comparable fights... but i give slight edge to ward. it all depends which holds more merit, "faded" or "drained" to the nit-picky.

Ward never fought Dirrell, Sergio Martinez, Dmitry Pirog, Peter Quillin, Andy Lee..ect all middleweights...
